no chain but since its his end phase wicked avatar's effect reactivates so your still in lockdown.
and wicked avatars effect happens on opponents turn not my own xD.

 

Actually, I'm pretty sure that it's negated, because the effect activates the turn it is Normal Summoned, and since it was negated then, the effect is gone.

I think that's right. There isn't a ruling on it...

effect lockdown isnt apart of wicked avatar. it completely resolved right after it was summoned and is impossible to negate.
the only thing that card negated is wicked avatar's effect to...actualy no, none of wicked avatars effects can be negated unless you negate its summon.
"Your opponent cant activate spell or trap cards until the end of their 2nd turn after this card has been summoned"
meaning even if its destroyed its effect would still have been completely resolved and so its effect is still in play.

Did you forget, you summoned Avatar on your Main Phase 2 and Effect veiler was used to negate it's effect, not it's summon as Avatar does state it cannot be be negated by Spells or Traps but it doesn't say Monster's, then Terror Incarnate's effect activates, destorying my last Fluff Token and your monsters since it said all other monsters on the field since terror Incarnate's effect is Priority before Avatar has a chance to regain it's effect.

 

Actually, he changed his move so it's Ultimate Nightmare now.

 

No, The Wicked Avatar's first effect starts a chain when it's summoned. Effect Veiler becomes Chain Link 2. So the lockdown is stopped.

 

well the time DID say I edited at 7:00 PM and you posted at 7:06 PM... so I fixed my move before you even posted xD

effect veiler only negates a card that I controle...I didnt controle wicked avatar before it was summoned and when it is summoned its effect already resolved and the only thing it negated was the ATK+DEF effect and that is reactivated on your turn.
what im saying is he cant chain to a monster I didnt even summon and once I summoned it the effect would have already resolved...
Edit: think of it this way...spell speed 2 cant chain to spell speed 3 right?xD the effect would already have happened before that effect can be played.
Wicked avatars effect is faster than any other effect lol...

I didnt change my move after Jaden made his move o.O I changed it after joey said something about it which was way before Jaden said anything...

No, The Wicked Avatar's first effect is a trigger effect. It tries to resolve immediately after the summon. Therefore you did control it. And so Effect Veiler negates it's effect.
