um... could someone fill in for me what game is the greatest in history... iv'e mostly heard either zelda or the mario series.... i have heard so many arguing witch one is the better... is there any proof on what is the greatest game of all time... sorry if this has already been made...
It has kinda already been made, but I think the best game can be determined only by genre. Plus it's a matter of personal opinion. Personally I like Final Fantasy X.

I would have to say the metal gear solid series. The research and everything behind it is amazing along with the gameplay. They warped the timeline of the world from the start of the 20th century a bit and made a historic game.
That's blasphemy. Everyone knows there isn't a "greatest game of all time". Just the "greatest game so far".
Well it's a toss for me. Super Smash Bros. (N64) Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage (PSX) Marvel V.S. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes (Dreamcast) Ratchet: Deadlocked (PS2)
I'd say the Metroid series. The first game was the only game of its time where you play as a girl, and Samus is kickass.
Maybe if I got to go around using my geass on people, that would be awesome. But there will never be best game ever. Elmo letter adventure
