OOC: Cylians aren't childern they're adults. Cylians merely have the appearance of children. this means that you have a whole army there.

BIC: One by one, Nas lost contact with the distant animal. she had called upon owls more than once, but they never made it close enough for Nas to see what was wrong. They would simply vanish from her mind. This was not good.
"Something's coming our way." she said.

 

OOC: argh.. ><... I need a recap... T^T

 

OCC: I suck at recaps... Here's some important parts, we skip ahead to after the kids were free and the kings army has arrived. I'm sure your sis will get you up to speed.

 

OOC: now you post?! *falls over* holy moofish, you make me crazy woman *wait for recap from hannah ;)*

BIC: After miraculesly saving the childs, Gemini and Sameriel made their way back to the group. Gemini skipped along backwards, wishing she could pick up the princess and run.

 

OOC: angelbear, that was ****ING EPIC! lol and daviekins, i shall give my sister a recap in person to save us all the trouble! angelyn will have to get her recap from pezzy or jeffreypoo cause im too lazy to type it XD

 

OOC: she (ms fluer) speaks as if phones do not exist ;P

 

OOC: I've got no idea what's going on, but I shall post anyway! :D Hey, PRINCESS, did Pezzypoo tell you the idea that I PMed to him??

BIC: "Nassy," Ben said quietly, though he had a smile on his face. "What can I do to help?"

The look on her face... something's wrong. What can she sense that I can't? I don't smell death or blood -- besides what was here when we came. Aidou watched Nas's face, trying to figure out what she was thinking.

Ben tilted his head at Aidou's thoughts. He didn't like hearing the grumpy vampire think to himself. But Ben knew that Aidou didn't yet know that Ben read thoughts or could teleport. It made him smile even more to think about how Aidou would react when he did find out.

 

Tristan tore his eyes away from the vampire and towards the boy. This kid was new. Tristan hadn't met him back in Twien. Nassy? He knew knew Nas? Perhaps another summon. Finally Tristan turned his gaze to Nas who had just recently left the building. He had missed the comment that she muttered, for his ears weren't as keen as the Vampire's.

Nas snapped from her thoughts when she heard Ben's voice. She gave him a smile before glancing back in the direction of where she felt the animals' presence vanish. It was getting closer...
"Something's coming from the northwest. It doesn't feel right."

"A Demon." said Tristan full of concern.

Nas showed minor surprise at Tristan's presence. She had not realized he was here. So he believes in demons now. She thought. She shook her head slowly. "I sense no aura.... Nor the stench of those vile creatures. In fact I sense nothing. Nature's eyes are failing me in the region where I presume it is. The animals... It's as though they've vanished. No, this is no demon. This sense of nothingness, it frightens me."

Nas's last few words brought a shiver down his spine. what in this world could possibly frighten a summon?

What indeed? came the voice with a giggle here and there.

Silence! Tristan shouted into the depths of his mind while attempting to push the voice out of his mind. Or do you want me to slit my own throat?

The voice giggled some more. Oh, Tristan, Tristan, Tristan. You think you have the upper hand don't you? Go on, threaten me. Those threats will have no meaning to me soon enough.

Damn you! What do you know?

More than you ever will, boy. and with that the voice vanished.

 

OOC: *mutters curses under her breath* nope! tell me bout it!

BIC: "so SAMERIEL." Gemini spoke up after a few hours of silence and walking. "We should be back with the others in an hour or so, their scent is getting stronger." she watched the princess's expression.

 

Aidou looked to Tristan. He didn't like how much the human smelled of blood, more than any other he'd come into contact with. He folded his arms and then looked to Aduial. She'd been awful quiet in all this. He didn't like the uncomfortable feeling eminating from the Cylian. She looked as though she felt out of place. One hand still on her bow and the other in a loose fist, her eyes were on Ben.

"The northwest? Okay!" Ben stepped away from Nas and the others. He grinned brightly and said, "I'll be back in a little bit!" Then, with a loud pop! he was gone.

"What happened? Where did Ben go?" Aduial asked hurriedly. She'd known the Summon for but only a day now and she'd already grown very attached. She was very worried by his disappearing act.

"So he can teleport," Aidou murmured, mainly to himself. "It would have been helpful if he'd mentioned that fact before this time."

"He just teleported?" Aduial looked to her traveling companion. "What if something happens to him? He doesn't know what could be there. Why did he just go?"

"He's more powerful than you think, or than he lets on," Aidou replied sharply. "Stop worrying about him."

Another loud pop! and Ben was back amidst the group. But he wasn't smiling anymore. "I'm sorry, Nassy. I got stuck. I can't get to where you need me to. I'm sorry." His lower lip trembled. Something was awfully wrong and he could feel it too, but he couldn't get there.

 

Whoa, wait a minute.

I need to know who's with who and where they are.
I'm confused.

 

OOC: Hahaha, so is everyone else. I'm the one who controls the strings and I'm the only one who knows what's going on. Ben is just unable to teleport to that area. I told Garx that and that's all she knows. Btw Lil' kidnap Sameire.

BIC: Tristan didn't seem the least surprised with Ben's disappearance. He simply nodded his head and took note of that ability. His guess appeared to be correct. He was a summon.
"Do you have my item, Nas?" Tristan asked, referring to the crystal that he sent Nas to retrieve.

Nas nodded silently. She was still concerned about the unfelt presence.

"Good." was all that Tristan had to say on the matter. "We need to hurry and find my sister. My father's soldiers have enter the city. Whatever you sense can wait for now. Apparently there is nothing we can do about it."

 

Aduial gently took hold of Ben's hand. "It's okay, you did what you could."

Ben hopped into Aduial's arms, being held like a baby. "You must be the Prince!" He said to Tristan. "So that means... your sister is the Princess! Let me help find her; I love meeting princesses!"

For a split second, Aidou was entertained by Ben's joyfulness. The summon was so childlike; Aidou wanted to see what he could do in a fight. Now he turned to Tristan, crossed one arm over his chest as a sign of great vampyric respect, and with regallity he spoke, "Prince Tristan, my name is Aidou Hanabusa and I am here, along with my companions, to aid you in any way we can. I've known the path my life would take for a long time, you are the Prince I am to serve in this war." Surprising Aduial, he bent his head, the closest thing to a bow the Vampire would perform.

Aduial stared at Aidou. What's with his change of character? I've never seen him so respectful, except around his mother. Aidou's never told me anything of this before. Does this mean he's only done everything he's done because he believes it's his... fate? His destiny? What am I to him really?

 

OOC: aww poor jeffrey-kun! make pezzy give you a recap and then we can get you back into the swing of things! I missed you! :glomp: :glomp:

 

Tristan eyed the three curiously. He shouldn't have let his tongue slip. Releasing a sigh He turned his back to the three and said, "I'm no prince, so please, no formalities." He would have to ask Nas about the boy. He wanted to know every detail about this new summon's powers.
"I've already sent someone to get my sister, but if any of you can find her faster, then I would be grateful. We need to fight off these soldiers. fortunately I have just the thing. An army of Cylians and Fairrels. The question is whether or not they are willing to fight. The people here have held them in captivity for some time, so I'm guessing that most of them have little respect for humans now. When this upcoming battle is all said and done. I will spend the next few months here fixing the damage and fending off the cold for the upcoming winter. And during that time I would appreciate it if you, vampire, could tell me all you know about the previous War and how to stop the demons. The royal family knows more of your people than you think. I'm aware of the vast amount of knowledge that your people have of the ancient days. I'll need that knowledge to win this."

 

"Just tell me where she is and I can get your sister back," Ben piped in. His smile didn't quite reach his eyes though. He was worried something was wrong with his teleportation power. Picking up Tristan's thoughts, he added, "And I can tell you all about me later. I've got a super fun story, you know!"

If looks could kill, Aidou's glare would have had Ben cold on the ground.

 

Tristan showed a minor hint of surprise at the boy's comment. Mind reading? he wondered. worry creased his face Did he hear me talking to the voice as well? He would have to watch what he was thinking around this boy. He didn't like the idea of a second mind rummaging through his head.
"Somewhere near the eastern most slave market. that's all I know, though."

 

OOC: ah, now i'm lost too, sorry. can some lovely ladies who understand the plot explain what just happened please?

 

OOC: ookay... just to let everyone know, jeffreypoo may not be on for a little while; he just finished up school and is recovering from his first college semester of finals... aand my sister is still busy with her finals that havent even started yet... just fyi, guys :D

 

OOC: Argh! I hate finals! D< They're soooooo annoying!

BIC: "I can go there, I think," Ben began. "Do you want to come with me?" He asked the question to both Aduial and Tristan.
