OOC: Um Well... We've started infiltrating the slave camps. A new summon has appeared, and that's all I can really think of.

"You do know her then!" Ben exclaimed happily. "Can we go see her, Nassy? I bet she's really pretty."

Aidou finally let his glare die down a bit. It was clear to them all that he and Nas wouldn't be getting along very much.

Eleanor looked around as well, putting a hand on the nearest wall to keep herself still as she regained her strength.

"Thanks," she muttered in return. "Those doors have got to be important, but..." She glanced at the children already in the room. "I'm... not good with kids..."

"This isn't good." Tristan said quietly. "We've been ambushed."
As if on cue, the trapdoors opened. Ladders of rope rolled down from each, though they weren't being used by the guards that jumped down from the openings.
Very clever. Tristan thought grumpily having multiple trap doors allows them to set up a defensible perimeter around intruders. Not only that, we don't know what will be waiting for us once we climb those ladders. Strange though, why are they hiding up there? That long narrow corridor, at the entrance, should have been a great enough of a defense to hold off most foes, so then why have this?"
Tristan's thoughts were abruptly interrupted by a guard coming towards him. Raising his right hand above his head, Tristan Shaped a blade of Lineve to block a vertical attack, which would have surely cut his head in two, while at the same time Shaping another blade in his left hand to block an oncoming blow, from another guard, at his left. Without a second's thought, Tristan swung his right leg under his opponent and successfully knocked away his opponent's footing. As the guard fell to the ground with a thud, Tristan proceeded to thrust his right blade into his leftmost opponent. He then slashed at the throat of the guard who had fallen to the ground. Tristan's blades dissipated instantly. He stood ready for his next opponent.

"We got a Shaper!" cried one of the guards.

"Damn it," Eleanor swore aloud, quickly counting the enemies in front of them and the stones in her pocket; she didn't have nearly enough to kill of them, let alone the strength to shove each one past their armor into their heads.

She spun in a circle twice, catching two men in the gut with her daggers and kicking them to the ground to bleed to death before pressing her back against Tristan's.

"This doesn't look that great, does it?" she asked quickly.

"Not too good at all." Replied Tristan. "Say Eleanor, how many necks do you think you can snap, using telekinetic energy, without using up too much energy?"

Nas put her finger to her lip and thought for a moment. "Perhaps, now is not the best time...." She said finally.

Eleanor blinked, a little surprised; she'd never thought of the idea herself, and, now that Tristan mentioned it, it didn't seem impossible.

"I don't know," she replied quickly. "But I guess we'll just have to find out!"

She focused her gaze on the nearest soldier, and, as he raised his weapon to attack, she bent his neck with her mind all the way down to his shoulder. Meeting the resistance of the other bone, she pushed harder as the man screamed, until a loud crack filled the room and the soldier's neck collapsed at an ugly angle against his chest. The body fell to the floor and Eleanor sighed; it wasn't easy, but she would keep it up.

The next three men were quicker, though; despite the attacks they brought toward her, Eleanor's mind was swifter. Their lives ended with less pain than the first and Eleanor found herself ignoring the fatigue coming over her.

She looked around to see four guards left, now standing in a row facing her and Tristan. She gave them a smirk and glanced at Tristan.

    "How's that?"

Tristan grinned widely. "Excellent!" he said with a touch of excitement. Several new possibilities suddenly came to mind. "Keep your power in check right now, we may need it later. Now let's see, four against two, huh? Kinda makes me feel sorry for these guys."

The guards began to glance at one another, nervously. No doubt, they were beginning to wonder whether these two opponents were worth fighting.

Suddenly something Tristan said earlier came into Eleanor's mind.

"Didn't you say you didn't want to kill all of them?" she whispered to him now.

You're the one who didn't reply!
    Oh, I'm back.
BIC: "You poor excuses for soldiers," Lanan muttered at the few bodies in front of him. Almost no effort was wasted. As soon as they followed him into the alley, he took them out one by one. His gauntlet made it easy to knock opponents out with a good hit to the head. "Hmph," the moment the sound escaped his mouth, he was already gone from the alley.

Reaching the building, he stepped past the blown door. A crowd was already forming outside. "Blood," he growled as his nose wiggled. Running down the corridors, he could see Eleanor's and Tristan's work on the guards. He was moving too fast to notice the bodies weren't breathing.

Ruby had been circling the building she and Naserrea had were assigned. She was waiting for the rat, but she was taking too long. "At this rate, I might as well go in on my own..." she said to herself. She thought of the children in there. She didn't particularly get along with children...not at all. And the guards...What would stop her from obliterating them? Her lips curled back slightly as she darted towards the front. She suddenly stopped a foot away from the door. Massster Luna would be furiousss with me if I killed everyone. She thought. She looked at the two guards on either side of her.
"When did-" one of them started to say, a bewildered look on his face. The beautiful pale woman moved fast, almost like a striking snake; she was several yards away just a second ago.
"I'll deal with you later," she smirked as she turned around. She slowly walked until she heard him approach her. When he started to say something, she darted away, looking for Naserrea.
As she approached the market, she sensed the rat...along with another powerful energy. "A Summon?" She said aloud, surprised. She continued towards the Naserrea.

Lauren laid on the floor in the kings room sobbing, she had failed to kill him and now he had put doubt in her head. Should she believe him or kill him. or just leave and not look back. She didn't know anymore. She though of avenging her town, but didn't even know where that woman had gone.

Alira wondered the destroyed town. Still wondering if heading to where the source of that distortion came from was a good idea.

"Aw, why not?" Ben whined. "She'd like me, right?"

I can't image how anyone does. Aidou thought. A normal person would have rolled his eyes, but the vampire didn't.

"Now, now, poor child," Ras'tepa said with a voice not his and a pity not genuine. Accompaning it with a sorrowful expression on the face that wasn't his as well, he took a step forward, but kept his distance. "It's not your fault any of this happened. The truth is..." the corners of his mouth twitched as he fought back a smile, "I have been framed."
Liar! Yelled Bryne in his thoughts. You shall not place this poor girl in your evil plans, Demon!
"Alira! Get ready!" Azazel commanded as he stood up. His voice was monstrous, betraying his human disguise as it rang into the air. He grabbed End Game and lifted it from the ground, swinging it once horizontally. His eyes glowed even brighter than before as he pointed the sword towards the city in the distance. I'm tired of waiting, was the only thought that crossed his mind as he stared into the same direction. He placed End Game on his back as a small string of Aura came out from his shoulder blades and wrapped itself around the guard, holding it in place

    --
Zuiden was now sitting in Karchit's tent, with Whisk standing next to him. "So, Sharp-tooth, what's the plan?"

Whisk had his staff in one hand and was standing alert, but his eyes had a bored expression. His gaze was wandering the tent, studying everything.

    --
I can't believe it, thought Ruby as she Naserrea entered her view. There are three others with her, two males and a female. She paid no attention to the two taller ones, but set her eyes directly on small male. He appeared human, but the energy of a Summon was obvious. She didn't recognize him. She slowed down, keeping her human shape, and approached them. Her eyes darted to the other two. The girl could be a Cylian, she seemed uninteresting. Her companion looked human, but he obviously wasn't. "Vampire," she whispered. She wasn't particularly fond of the cursed Kingdom, but they were higher than humans in the heirarchy in her mind. With the crowd getting closer, she broadened her gaze on all of them.

    --
Lanan was now on all fours as he darted through the damaged building. The smell of blood stung his nose, but he was worried about Eleanor and Tristan. As he drew closer, he pulled back his lips to bare his fangs.

Alira was by his side in a second. "We are leaving now?" she asked. She was ready to leave as well. "Do you want me to scout ahead in my altered form?" she asked.

Lauren looked at him suprised. "Framed? By who? I think your are lying!" she yelled, who could frame a king, a parasite who could take over him, like that could happen.

Tristan smiled and merely shrugged. He knew this to be a good time to act. "It really doesn't matter to me, though now that you mention it, perhaps killing them would be fun. What do you guys think?" Tristan asked while turning his gaze to the guards. "Do you guys want to die?" In the blink of an eye, Tristan advanced on the closest one and shaped blade against his throat. "Well?" He asked again in a sinister tone. "Do you?"
Stunned by the display, the guards realized just how out skilled they were compared to the two warriors before them. They didn't need Tristan to ask again, they all dropped their weapons at once.
Tristan grinned broadly, "Smart move." And with a few kicks and punches, the guards lay unconscious on the floor. The lineve blade dissipated as quickly as it was shaped. "Nice." Tristan exclaimed happily. "I think they all deserve a single cage, in which they can sort out their thoughts and decide where their loyalties lie."

"There is no plan at the moment." Grumbled to himself. We're head back to the desert. feel free to come with."

    ----------

Zack stared into the western night sky. He had left Danil to deal with the events in the ruined city. He knew in his heart that he could trust Danil to become the leader that those people needed now.
But the people of Cheslidair where something to worry about anther day. Right now Zack had bigger issues to worry about. Issues and events taking place to the west. Already he could feel the auras of two, possibly three, powerful demons, coming from that general direction.
Zack speed off towards the closest two auras while casting a spell of masking to hide his own Angelen aura. Such an ability was uncommon among Angelens; however, Zack was no ordinary Angelen.
This was to be the first time in 300 hundred years that Zack performed this spell. He didn't use it except for situations such as this. If he were to do battle with these two new enemies, the first thing he needed was information.

Nas gave Ben a kind smile "How could she not like you? but that's not the..." Nas paused and looked behind herself. She could sense Ruby nearby. "I must go now." Nas said quietly. "I have a mission I must attend to." and without another word, Nas ran off towards Ruby.

Eleanor's smirk widened a little. "It's a good thing I reminded you of that little idea," she began. "Who knows what you would've done to them."

She stopped and turned around, looking back the way they came. "I hear something," she said quietly. "Who the hell could be coming toward us... besides Lanan?" She readied her mind nonetheless, her fingers on the small pebbles in her pocket and her daggers.

Tristan smiled while shoving the guards into single empty cage. Leaving Eleanor to deal with whatever was coming their way, Tristan calmly approached one the children. A little girl of about age 9. "Hey there. Don't be afraid, I'm a friend."
The girl huddled herself, as best as she could with 5 other kids cramping up the cage, to the far corner. Without saying a word, she regarded the strange man that stood before her.
"Don't be afraid" Tristan repeated. I'm here to help, but first, I need your help."

At length the girl decided to respond. She seemed to have trouble forming her words. It was obvious that she had not spoken in a great while. "W-what h-h.... help y-you n-need?"

Tristan gave the girl a sad smile. How could his father have ever allowed this? No, Tristan reminded himself, Not my father. A Demon.
"I need to know what is kept up there. What secrets are kept behind the trap doors?"

The girl began to shake uncontrollably. Shaking her head profusely, she refused to answer the question. A boy answered it for her. He seemed around 13.
"They take special children up there." The boy said quietly.

Tristan gave the boy a confused look. "special?" He asked.

The boy merely nodded. "They aren't human." whispered a boy next to him.

Tristan's eyes widened so much that he felt as though they would fall from their sockets. Not Human? But then that means... Tristan scratched his chin. Intricate plans began to play out in his head. "Not human." Tristan said, letting the words linger in the air.

"What are they talking about, Tristan?" Eleanor asked, not taking her eyes or focus off the doorway in front of her. She wanted to insist that there was no time for questioning, but for the moment no one outside the building seemed to know what they'd done; otherwise all the soldiers in the city would be inside the chamber right now.

"Seems that coming here wasn't such a bad idea after all." Tristan glance up at the open trapdoors. "The tide may have just turned in our favor. This building is too big to hold only the small amount of children that we see here. The trapdoors prove that enough. There is more to this place than meets the eye. These children can't be all that there is here. Therefore, they must be hiding more up there. These children say that the ones kept up there aren't human. Tell me Eleanor, what known race has the appearance of a child?"
