The war of Humans and Elves.

Nox smiled, 'knew you'd like it.'
Nox began to ride down the hill.

 

Eva waited for a moment, then followed him. "If I disappear, it's because the sea has claimed me and I will be happy forever. Or I got captured." she grinned, not taking her eyes off the ocean.

 

"That was almost poetic. Except that last part," Nox said, "honsestly I wouldn't mind settleing down by a coastline. It would be nice."

 

She nodded. "You thought Nadia was bad, wait till you get to know me better." she smiled, turning to look at him for a second, the light glancing off her hair. "I wonder..." she helped guide her horse around some rocks. "Is this place elf friendly?"

 

"No," Nox said, "it would be hard to make money if it wasn't."

 

She nodded, thinking. "I can find a place for Nadia to hide, anyway. She is hunted by her kind as I am hunted by mine. In that, we are one and the same." she grinned, then rode up ahead of him, glancing back for a second. "We should have been sisters."

 

"Realisitcaly you both are. Now why are people after you both," Nox asked. His hource stoped and Nox kicked it back into motion.

 

Eva smiled, not turning this time. "We are at fault for something not our fault." she replied, almost cynically. "It seems to be the way of the world to blame whoever is easiest to punish, is it not?"

 

"What do they think you did wrong," Nox asked. The two were almost to the city a large welcome sign waiting for them.

 

She shrugged. "Something I'd rather not talk about." she said finally, stroking her horse's mane nervously. "It was in the past and I want to let it go."

 

'So you wanna go down to the beach,' Nox asked, 'before I go and get a job.'

 

She grinned, then nodded. "If that's okay. I would like to know exactly why sand is so great. And I wanna see the waves." she blushed. "If that's okay."

 

"Of course you shouldn't go to the coast line and not go to the beach," Nox said happliy turning his hource right.

 

Eva smiled, following him. "I don't understand how you could ever get used to something like that." she said, humming under her breath.

 

"I know it's amazing," Nox said he got off his hource and tied it to a tree.

 

Eva smiled, then sighed. "How can something so pretty not attract trouble?" she murmured to herself, letting her horse roam freee. She patted it absently, then watched.

 

Nox smiled as he walked onto the beach. He took off his shoes and shirt. He wished he had time to get on shorts. He steped onto the beach, 'you comeing.'

 

She nodded, taking off her shoes gently and setting them aside, then following. "Ooh, this feels funny." she giggled as the sand pressed against her toes, getting in between them and burying her feet.

 

Nox smiled, 'you get use to it just be sure not to burn your feet.'
Nox moved to where the sand was wet and cool.

 

She nodded, gingerly stepping into the ocean. She giggled again when it lapped at her feet, and almost fell over.
