He smiled and sighed. "You're alright." he said. "I was so worried."

His eyes widened. "Y-you do?" he asked.

 

"you were....*cough* worried about me?" she asked, sitting up, holding the blanket closer.

 

"Yeah." he said. "I thought I was going to lose you."

 

Eva nodded. "It wasn't all that hard to figure out. Plus I..uh..." she tapped her forehead with her good hand.

 

"Looked into my mind." he said, looking down. He was upset, but not at her, at the fact that she figured it out.

 

Eva looked away. "I didn't meant to. Stuff just...came to me."

 

"It's not your fault." he said. "That was something I didn't want you to know."

 

Eva smiled slightly. "It happens to parents too.." she murmured. "Things you try to protect someone you care about from, eventually come to get them."

 

"You aren't disgusted with me?" he asked.

 

Eva shook her head. "You did what you had to, to survive. How can I blame someone for that?"

 

"If you want me to, I will stop for good." he said.

 

"But then you'll die, right?" Eva asked, looking up at him.

 

"Eventually, yes. But not for decades, just like a normal human." he said.

 

Eva thought for a bit. "I don't want to make that choice for you...." she murmured, almost falling asleep. She didn't realize how tired she was.

"I'd rather spend my time with you and die by your side, then continue to live forever and watch you die." he said, tears in his eyes.

 

Eva opened her eyes, then slowly touched his face. "There's plenty of time." she murmured, her voice low and sleepy, her eyes closing against her will. "We can make that decision if the time comes." She slowly fell asleep.

 

He cried and said "I can't live without you. I......love you."

 

she couldn't help but softly laugh...
"i'm not going anywhere," she smiled putting her hand on his. she blinked softly, looking down at the blanket that covered her body now.
"maybe, you can teach me to swim soon?" she chuckled.

 

OC: *looks at post* Looks like I loss. *looks again* wait your getting both girls. Now that is just unfair.

Nox cursed himself for loseing the soul mage. He knew the god thing was bull. There were no gods just people that use people.

 

Eva startled, looking up. "You.....love me?"
