Rasler smiled and explained what he had been through over the two thousand years.

 

Zeliek looked over at Maya.

 

Maya just listened to him.

 

"So what do you want me to do with him, Maya?"

 

Maya thought for a moment.

 

Zeliek looked at her, waiting for an answer.

 

"You can stay here as a servant, just don't expect the others to kill you." Maya turned away and Rasler smiled, then changed into a demon.

 

Zeliek followed Maya.

 

Maya went to the garden and sighed. Leon was nearby when she sat down and noticed her.

 

Luna was tending to the flowers.

 

"So....." Leon said, hoping to start a conversation, "was that really our ancestor, the one who sealed the two worlds?"

 

Luna listened in as she continued to tend the flowers.

 

"Yeah....... For some reason, he knew I'd be the only one who can follow his footsteps and he waited for me for those years."

"Well, you both have the same mark. That's for sure."

 

Zeliek walked to the garden for some fresh air.

 

"What are you going to do? Train and try to the war."

"I don't know. It's hard to say."

 

"Whatever you decide to do, I'll stand behind you."

 

"Nothing is set in stone. You decide your path, Maya, and your family will be behind."

 

Zeliek gently held Maya and smiled.

 

Maya sighed and smiled.
