Wing's palm connected with his forehead.

"First thing we do is teach this guy to talk!" He said with a laugh

 

"I knew this pocket-sized "How to Teach the Guy You Just Met How to Speak" book would come in handy someday!" Vexneah said as she took it out.

 

"Wa wa we wa. Ifa you cantz underz standz me, den Ilze speack a bitza clearer, eh? already" Schmoppy said "letza getz zome zleep, eh? already, goodz" Schmoppy said, as he went to bed in a tent the army had put up

 

Geryl sighed. Yes..... Finally some understanding.

 

"Yes, I would appreciate it if you spoke clearer. That is what you said right?" Vexneah replied.

 

"wa wa we wa! yez, iz nice, leza allz getza zome zleep, eh? alreadyz" Schmoppy said

Wing laid down on his back with his arms under his head acting as a makeshift pillow.

 

"You know what? Forget it." Vexneah shook her head and summoned Fenris, laying her head against him and falling asleep.

 

Geryl layed down and then used one of his wings to cover him for warmth. The other for a makeshift pillow.

 

Wing turned his head to see Vexneah Asleep on Fenris. He then summoned Foux and used his power over wind, and twilight to create a blaket of sorts. He gently placed it over her, and proceded to create more blakets for the tohers that had fallen asleep. When he sat down againg he pulled the letter out of his pocketand read it.

My name is Gale, I am a citizen of the world of Prism and was born and riased in your hometown of Cerina (Sir in a). I'm writting you this letter to tell you that everything is okay here...you and your friends saved us all. I just thought I'd tell you that.

A tear slid down Wing's Cheek. it was odd, he was happy yet so sad at the same time. "Gale...you're okay." He said quietly. "They're all okay now." He said with a small smile. He pulled his knees to his cheast and began to wistle a tune that instaly created a cacoon of Wind and Twilight around the group, protecting them.

 

Wing's whistling made Fenris raise his head, which in turn woke Vexneah up. "It wasn't me! It was the cookie stealing squirrels! Wait..." Vexneah noticed the cacoon, "What's this?"

 

Wing noticed Vexneah sit up, along with Fenris. "What's this?" She asked seeing the cacoon.

"I'm sorry vexneah, I didn't man to wake you." He said softly. "This cacoon is much like the ones i used to make...you know out of wind, to protect you and the others sometimes....only this one is mixed with twilight and a lot larger...and stronger."

 

"It's okay. Are we in danger?" Vexneah asked, yawning.

 

"No...but with all those that are hunting us...I Thought it couldn't hurt to take precautions."

 

"Good idea." Vexneah looked at the letter in his hands, "Whatcha got there?"

 

Wing looked at the letter and smiled, a sad smile..that was quickly replaced by a happy one...or what he hoped looked like a happy one.


"It's a letter from my little brother...My homeworld is okay now..and everyone has returned." He placed the letter back into his pocket.

 

"That's good. Wait, returned? Returned from what? And you have a little brother?" Vexneah asked with her famous clueless expression.
