Tul Raijin awaited silently for Scourge to finish talking with Marlene. Then, he approached him.

"I'm not sure if you know this or not, but we're missing some equipment," Tul Raijin said. "I think it's Ravakov..."

Xane glanced back at Nulix. He'd never seen him act that worried before. If something like that happened to Mellodia...

 

"Hm? Oh yeah, I was walking by when she spotted me. Hard to believe she still remembered me. We were talking when we were ambushed" Sybille quickly explained.

 

Xardius' eyes were boring into Sybille like twin anvils of fire, but didn't expect her to notice.

Scourge set the phone down. "Take care of it, please. But don't die. I need you to finish our project. Plus, you're a good person, and I'd hate to see you as another casualty in this war."

He smiled softly, then walked out of the room.

 

"Right..." Nulix muttered, "This is real emotional... uh, for me. You mind if I have a moment alone with Xane here, just for a second?" Nulix grabbed Xane's arm and pulled him into a corner, "What do you think?" he asked.

"Pharell," Skinnar said, approaching the man. "Whats the situation with Ravakov, so far?"

 

Tul Raijin frowned.

"Do you...have any idea of what he's doing?" Raijin asked. "Is he another deserter or..?"

"What do I think?" Xane asked. "I think there's something wrong with this whole thing. Xardius doesn't buy it and Sybille's story kinda suspicious."

"Well, he's definitely building something," Pharell said. "Exactly what he's building, I don't know. He's raiding our resources for all they've got, including several of our fuel reactors. I don't know what kind of machine can take that much energy, but I'm sure Ravakov can build one.

 

Nulix sighed, "God damn it Xane, I'm angry... I'm falling apart. I was pumped, I was happy, now this... god damn. She had to be lying though, that Sybille person is evil or something. Brotherhood maybe."

"Is he still Brotherhood?" Skinnar asked.

 

"Ravakov is no longer Brotherhood," Scourge said. "Tell him so. Break it to him...the hard way."

OOC: Scourge doesn't like vampers, XD.

"She's not Brotherhood!" Marlene yelled, stomping her feet. "I'm Brotherhood! Me! Ha! And I didn't do it! Ha!"

She stopped dancing, and started flushing. "They...er, probably heard that. I'd better leave."

Grabbing her coat, she jumped out the window, clambered onto the roof, and ran like she meant it.

Xardius was staring at the ceiling. "Did I just hear what I thought I heard?"

 

"Hey," Xane shrugged. "I don't really believe it either. I really don't want to. But even if we don't trust Sybille, she's our only lead."

"That was pretty suspicious too," Xane frowned, lookig out the window at the woman running away.

"Is he?" Pharell asked. "Whatever he's doing, he sure as hell doesn't have Scourge's permission."

Raijin nodded and left Scourge's presence.

OOC: Ravakov isn't a vampire! He was supposed to be Russian. And that makes two of my Brotherhood member's Scourge has kicked out!! Anyway, I gotta go soon. Might be on for a few minutes later on.

 

"Your right..." Nulix muttered.

Skinnar stretched his arm, "Does Scourge know we resigned from the war yet? Probably not... Pharell, I want you to escort myself and a few others on a mission into the dark worlds. Scourge is a smart man, he realizes that if the people are lost he's powerless, if he didn't know that before Lexx reminded him... So I want him to sign a peace treaty after an open publicly broadcasted interview between me and him. The people fear the unknown, I'm gonna make him known."

OOC: See ya Pirate.

 

OOC: Vamping as in taking needed material from him, not vampire. It was an analogy...

BIC: Xardius shrugged. "Well, I suppose we know there is one Brotherhood member here."

He leaned close. "But that doesn't rule out Sybille. She could be a member not known about, or the person wanted to deny it, so we'd trust her more. We should be careful. I'm going to bed. You guys should too."

He got the keys from the hostess, who walked up the stairs. Fifteen minutes later, she still hadn't come downstairs. When she did, she looked pensive and a little apprehensive.

OOC: Tomorrow, what happened during those fifteen minutes. I'm heading out tonight as well.

 

OOC: Then I got to leave as well, see ya'll.

 

OOC: damn... could someone tell me what happened since yesterday?

OOC: ok, lets see what i can come up with...

BIC: Noxas then saw a flash of light. he came back to the normal room, but only to see that everyone was in a rush.
"what happened" he asked.
Noxas then looked around, only to hear rumors that Bellatrix was dead.
"what.. what do you mean... HOW CAN BELLA BE DEAD?!" he shouted in a panic.
she was the first person to see when he came back from the darkness, so he couldnt believe it


OOC: meh, dont have a great mind right now -_-

 

"She's not dead," Nulix whispered, turning to Noxas. "We don't know it for sure yet, but keep on acting like she is... there are ears everywhere," Nulix explained.

 

OOC: End of semester, weekend, and I'm so ready for it.

 

OOC: Thats just fantastic...

 

OOC: Thanks Nulix.

OK, I promised to tell you guys what happened upstairs. But after this, we have to go to "bed." And wake up. Because it's been three days and we've haven't even gotten through the first day...

BIC: "So what's the deal with your friends?" the hostess asked, unlocking his door.

"We just had a good friend die," Xardius said after a moment, unsure of how much to tell her.

The hostess gasped and looked stricken. "Oh, I'm sorry..."

Xardius shook his head. "Meaningless apologies don't help anyone here. Tell me, how can I find the woman who's looking for me?"

"Well, she looks like me," the hostess said, flicking her honey-brown hair. "Actually, if you hadn't noticed, all the girls do."

"What?" Xardius asked, confused.

"We were made to emulate her," the hostess said. "I was hoping you'd recognized me, so I could tell you she was looking for you, but you didn't."

"Created?" Xardius asked, stunned.

"Oh, well, not like that," the hostess said, laughing a little. "Avalanche has pretty advanced technology and Iceburg is the result. The head government is researching something, and for that, they needed similar people. So they gave us all a bit of one baby's cells, and formed us into slightly different people."

"Weird..." Xardius said, confused again.

"We're not the same," the hostess said.

"But why? Let me..." Xardius reached a hand out and touched her. Instantly, he recognized the power inside her.

"They're breeding an army, of course," Xardius growled. "You would have her power."

"Whose?" the hostess asked, her brow furrowing. "Army?"

"The woman whose cells reside in you is the woman who is undoubtedly looking for me, because I knew her nearly three hundred years ago."

The hostess blinked. "What?"

Xardius nodded. "The mystery deepens. Something is going on here that shouldn't be. I'll liberate you."

He walked into his room and shut the door, leaving the hostess confused and pensive at the same time as she walked back down the stairs.

 

OOC: Anybody still online?

 

OOC: Just a little mishap...

 

Nulix checked out a single room on his U.P.A. credit card. One bed, one Tv, one bathroom. Perfect. Nulix opened the door and threw his bag on the bed, before pulling his phone out. It wasn't the ones Xardius had bought for him, that one was confiscated by the U.P.A. The new phone he had was the one Lexx had offered him when he abandoned his friends, a smart phone of unparralel proportions, GPS, Internet, access to U.P.A. databanks, everything.

"God damn it, no signal," Nulix muttered, pressing one of the buttons repeatedly. After a few minutes, Nulix got it to work. "U.P.A. Main Office, Level twelve mission secretary Lexx speaking."

"Lexx, listen, you get my signal, right? Location and all?" Nulix asked, "I need access to all the street security cameras or store window cameras in the town..."

"Not possible, sorry," Lexx replied.

"What do you mean its not possible?!" Nulix demanded.

"The wars over, Vecked's the blame. We have no control over the Dark Worlds or their government anymore.... or their security cameras," Lexx explained.

"Alright, you know what? Put Skinny on the line please," Nulix muttered.

"No can do, Nuly-boy. My Hairis Skinnar, Agent Pharell, and Supreme Captain Cotaxus are busy, planning to leave in a massive Dreadnaught to the Dark Worlds, trying to get and interview and a peace treaty out of Scourge," Lexx said.

Nulix clenched his fists. "God damn it Lexx, my... friend could be dead, help me out! For once!"

"Not my problem," And then, Lexx hung up. Nulix sighed, before turning the Tv on. A little bit before bed couldn't hurt.

OOC: Sorry it took so long to reply, computer trouble.

 

Pharell nodded. "It will be done," Pharell nodded. If things kept going this way the war would be over before they knew it...But there was still an unesy feeling in his stomach.

Xane relaxed in the hotel room, his thoughts scattered. Thinking about hitting on one of the waitresses, he went downstairs. Perhaps, he could also gather some info as he did so.
