The Ultimate Organization III

Nulix paused on the stairs, "...Oh my god..." Nulix suddenly ran after Xardius again. "Are you... did you see a body, Xardius? What happened?"

 

OOC: OK, my computer stopped fuzzing out and decided to live for a while longer.

BIC: Xardius held up a hand, and moved forward down the hall a bit. He shrugged, and turned back to Nulix, doing the same air bubble he did before with Xane.

"Three days," Xardius said. "That was the limit. More like two days actually, considering. I sent a message out. Within half an hour of sending the message out for everybody to regroup, Sybille showed up and told us Bellatrix was dead. What no one knows is that I'm connected to every single one of you through a small conduit of my power that I leave attached to your souls."

He shrugged. "Through that, I can tell your general welfare and your location. I know for example, that you were severely injured by a bomb while in the Sora System, undoubtedly during the riots against Lexx that you started. Bellatrix is roughly that way," he said, pointing down, back and to the right. "She's bruised but not severely hurt. I'm giving her three days to bust out of wherever she is before we go get her."

"So no, she's not dead, but I said that in case Sybille was listening," Xardius shrugged again. "So act shocked, heartbroken, and maybe shed a tear or two until we can figure out what's wrong with this planet. Because something is going on."

OOC: Xardius' cell phone gives him world news. And video.

 

"And whats a Sybille?" Nulix asked.

 

Xardius rolled her eyes. "Sybille. The girl downstairs. I did mention that but you were probably overcome with grief. Now start crying, or screaming, or something, because we're running out of air in here."

He dropped the air bubble, and walked past Nulix.

 

"Wait. What?" Xane asked, finally finishing his food and joining the others. "Oh, hey Nulix."

 

''What are they talking about?'' Sybille muttered to herself, slightly nervous.

 

Nulix sighed, before glancing at Xane, "I'm so confused... Xane, where is everyone? Noxas, Wing, I heard Alyt was with you at some point? Tera Roth as well?" Nulix turned at Sybillie's voice. "Hey, I'm Nulix Princeton."

 

"Noxas and Wing were with us. So were Alyt and half of the Guardians," Xane said. "Come to think of it, I don't know where Mellodia and Venture went...

 

''Hm, oh hello'' Sybille replied, giving a warm smile, ''Sybille Dove, at your service!''

 

"Right," Nulix said, smiling at her, "Hey... uh, what actually happened to Bella? She died, my friend said..."

 

Xardius went back to the hostess, ignoring the others.

"Sorry, you were saying," he said, leaning back down.

"Oh, your friend's food is ready, but that's not what I was going to say," the hostess said, handing him a plate. Xardius handed it to Nulix, then returned.

"There was someone who said that if a man named Darius Lionheart, tall, red-haired, handsome," she smiled again. "Anyway, if this Darius came through here, we'd notify them and give him whatever he wanted."

"Someone called me tall, red-haired, and handsome, and you assumed it was me," Xardius asked, raising an eyebrow. "That's not very descriptive."

"Actually, she gave me a picture," the hostess laughed.

Xardius rolled his eyes, and walked back to the others. She, hmm?

 

''Oh'' Sybille said, dropping the smile,'' Someone amushed her, and I'm sad to say she wasn't able to fend them off. I was helpless to help her, but she sacrificed herself for me. I managed to run off, but she...'' Sybille stopped, looking down.

 

"What happened to the ambushee? The one who attacked?" Nulix asked.

 

''It was a woman with silver hair, and blue eyes" Sybille muttered, not looking up, "She had a really pretty voice though and I don't know. I left as soon as I could. I thought she could handle it"

 

"...This is just... horrible..." Nulix muttered, rubbing his forehead. He wasn't sure if Sybille could be trusted, he wasn't sure if Bella was really dead, but he wasn't going to say anything. Like Xardius had told him, pretend to be in grief.

 

"Its sad, I know, but isn't it a load off as well? She was never much of a help anyway was she? My best friend, dear Bella, was always a bit of a slacker huh?" Sybille looked up, waiting to see his reaction.

Those aqua eyes... How could she have betrayed me? Is it really even her?

 

About this time, her phone rang. Jumping, cracking her head on the bed above her, falling out of bed, and picking up the phone, Marlene Stewart rubbed her head and asked, "Hello?"

"Orders in," Scourge said. "Are they there yet?"

"They're here, but there's this weird girl here who says Bellatrix is dead," Marlene said, frowning prettily, though Scourge couldn't see.

There was a pause. "Is it true?"

"Of course not," Marlene snapped. "Well, I don't think so. But it doesn't matter. Xardius doesn't seem convinced."

"Keep a low profile," Scourge said. "I'll keep in touch. Eclipse should be there soon."

"Right, right," Marlene said. "I have three days right?"

"That's right," Scourge said with a touch of amusement. "Three days."

 

"No," Nulix replied, "Sorry but... thats not right... maybe when you knew her, or something... but she, more recently, was... really just amazing. Not a slacker at all, that was me. No, she was strong... and smart, and pretty. You know, she came up with a plan, uh, we were in rain forest, stuck with this crazy guy in a cave full of ammo and explosives and I was climbing tree's, trying to find out where we were... and then I would fall, of course. But Bella, she was... she was the one doing all the stuff, you know? Thinking of plans, taking bigger risks then most of us... not, not at all a slacker... I don't know the Bella your taking about, cause mine wasn't a slacker..."

Nulix smiled, "Sorry, ranting on a bit. All this... this crazy grief is getting to me... um, do you know what the cause of death was?"

 

Sybille smiled, possibly smirked, and sighed, "Hm, interesting. She's changed I suppose. Anyway I think it was probably just loss of blood. She was bleeding a lot and I held her, but I couldn't stand the sight of it, I mean the loss of light in her eyes was simply horrifying. Never will i forget that, that beautiful, tragic image"

"How pathetic" she had begun, walking around her like a buzzard circling a carcass. Her blue eyes had looked at her with nothing but hate and resentment, but not just for her, it was just she was the only one they had managed to ger first, "You're all pathetic, denizens of darkness, pretending to be of light and giving us false hope. Did you ever think of those that had no quarrel with any, yet were struck by this war all the same? No, no you didn't, you nothings never do."

 

Nulix gave a glance at Xane. "Right... this whole thing is just shocking, that a lone assassin could kill her... and you, uh, you were there? Did you two meet up or something?"
