Liam scrunched his face, he wasn't late in the least, he had been there for three hours hiding in the shadows.


"mission accepted." he bowed and walked out the door.


"that damn enigma..."

Wing watched as the water sprites laughed at Xardius, his fire hadn't done anything to either one of them. they all raised their arms and let a volley of twilit water needles at xardius. Wing made an attempt to counter, but the woman shook her head with a devious smile.

"his trials. not yours."

 

OOC: FYI, Xardius isn't talking about Wing when he says 'It's been a while since we've fought together...' What he's talking about I'll post later...

And I'm skipping ahead with Vecked, also. Vecked's already killed the Leviathan, and Tiamat, the Wind Dragon.

And I have no time again...That's...weird...I just got on...

Hmph...I probably won't have time for another post so I'll get my kicks in on this one.

BIC: Vecked turned from Tiamat's dead body, and followed the glowing light...

Meanwhile, as Xardius fought the Water Nymphs, he felt danger from behind. Twisting, he nearly dodged the sword slash that came out of nowhere, slicing him in the side.

Xardius imploded the fireballs desperately as he flipped backwards, using the heat to sear the wound shut. Panting, he turned to see his assailant staring back at him.

A woman he'd thought dead long ago...no he knew was dead. The Celestial Mage of Water, Tifanitan, whose sword now dripped his blood.

EDIT: Then the water needles hit him, and the world exploded in water...

OOC: Yeah, I was going to put that in, but then I forgot...*stupid stupid* Anyway.

 

Vecked followed the glowing light...

 

"So you're the new guy?" Ravakov asked Liam. "What can you do in battle? That is vun of the most important things you need to know vhen facing the Guardians."

Xane watched as the ship hovered above the empty highway. No cars seemed to be headed towards them...Yet.

 

Liam smiled.

"Oh I know a thing or two about fighting the Guardian's don't underestimate me."

He let his palm encase itself with darkness. "I myself am a guardian. But we aren't going after the guardian's have you already forgotten what order 64 is?"

He chuckled.

"Lets just make sure our knights can tempt the UPA to use there king, i'm tired of their pawns."

 

"Knights, Guardians, They are all similar," Ravakov said. "I really vouldn't know the difference if they vere standing right in front of me. But our main focus is on three of the most dangerous Knights in existence. So, I'd like to know vhat your abilities are eh?"

"You hear something, Nulix?" Xane asked, hearing a vrooming noise in the distance.

 

"i'm the guardian of darkness. My power comes from that darkness, i'm pretty handy with a sword, most small arms and the occasional dagger. yourself?"


Liam looked over to his companion

 

"No," Nulix replied.

 

"Electromagnetism, power over metal, that type of thing," Ravakov explained. "And not to brag, but I am a genius. I've got a photographic memory and can build the most powerful weapons in a matter of seconds. Above all that, I feel no pain, vhatsoever due to my skin cells being composed of a different structure than most humans."

All of the Ultimate Organization members present were startled as several vehicles zoomed pass them. One of them headed straight toward them without the slightest indication that it intended to stop. So Xane did what he could and smashed up the incoming vehicle, without injuring the driver.

 

"Whats with that?" Nulix said.

 

Xane shrugged and opened the door to see if the driver was okay. The driver shoved himself out and stood up to face the UO.

"You all ruined my test run! What the hell are ya doin in the middle of a track anyway?" he asked.

Xane looked at Nulix to answer.

 

Nulix sighed, "I'm Lunix Prince, and this is Anxe Muscle. You are a racer, are you not?"

 

"Yeah, and you just wrecked my damn ride!" The racer shouted. "Drive me back to the Bureau. They'll take care of you there."

Xane shrugged, "Alright, we'll go. We just landed here, though. We didn't know that-"

"Doesn't matter! I'll direct you two the Bureau. Just get on your ship and fly me there!" the racer demanded.

 

"Um... alright," Nulix said, "What racing league is this?"

 

"A newly sponsored one," the racer replied. "The U.P.A is trying to establish a connection with the Dark World's. Ours is apparently one of the first. They offered our boss so much money that they canceled the old racing league and stated it up again, calling it the U.P.A Blazer. Named after the U.P.A's newest illium ship model."

 

"Jesus, the Blazer land and space, 180 tires..." Nulix muttered, "I mean, I know it runs on a hefty load of gas but hell... they got a ship with heavy tires to be able to fly in the atmosphere at such speed, its amazing... Is it a model exclusive league or can anyone with a race gummi join?"

 

"Anyone with a race gummi can join as long as they have a prize to donate," he racer explained. "It doesn't have to be money or anything. It can be the ship itself or whatever. You have to be well equipped, though. No gummi without weapons can make it through this race."

 

"This don't look like a big league..." Nulix muttered, "You said it had weapons... is it roaded or cross country."

 

"Don't let these high ways fool you," the man said. "They're only for test runs. The real races are held out there," the man replied pointing to a giant canyon in the distance. A couple of crashed ships could be seen in the distance, with vultures appearing every now and then to check for dead driver's.

"You're just lucky I'm one of the kinder racers," the racer said. "Most of the others would fire on ya, if you were in there way. Then again, if I wasn't married I'd do the same."

"What does being married half to do with anything?" Xane asked.

"Well, they're trying to impress the U.P.A spokeswomen. They're apparently impressed by excellent racers. Kinda gets their blood pumpin', ya know. Then there are those after prize money, better parts, etc...Ah, here we are. The Bureau."

 

"Damn, a ticket into the URL Basic Qualifiers is the grand prize of this league," Nulix muttered, looking at a poster on the outside of the Bureau. "The URL is the biggest racing tournament... in the world."
