"Often enough," Xardius said. "I think I'll more than likely go back to what I was doing...But maybe, if Scourge isn't there, I'll be able to save them this time."

He peered at Nulix. "I've lived the last 100 years over, for perhaps the last millennium...Every time, I go back to a world called the Chaotic Desert, 100 years in the past. Scourge destroys the world, and I try to stop him. However, it always ends up...that the world is destroyed, even if I defeat Scourge."

He glanced down at his hands. "Every time I fail, I live the next 100 years, waiting for a chance to repeat the cycle again. But, every time, the 100 years changes...I've never lived this before..."

He shook his head. "I didn't expect this to ever happen...The next time I go back, what will be there waiting for me? What will the next 100 years be like?"

Xardius chuckled morosely. "Of course, there's always the fact that I might not survive...I've been having this feeling lately..."

He shook himself. "So, what exactly are we going towards now? What are we doing?"

 

"...I dunno, I think we are waiting for Skinny here to wake up," Nulix
said, pointing at the unconscious body of Skinner in the nearby corner...

 

"Hmph," Xardius said. "He won't tell us anything. He probably doesn't know anything..."

 

"He's the only lead we got...." Nulix said, before looking over at Skinnar, who was trying to open his eyes, "...I think he's waking up..." Nulix said...

 

"Alrighty," Xardius said, walking forward towards Skinnar. "Nulix, you question him, I'll, uh, write stuff down."

 

Skinnar opened his eyes completely and looked up at them, "What a warm wake up..." Skinnar muttered, trying to get up, "Couldn't leave me alone for a second, eh?" Skinnar said, adjusting his bandages slightly, "So tell me, what can I do for you freaks today?"

"What do you know about Mantell Richards?" Nulix asked.

"A lot of things...." Skinnar replied...

 

Xardius rolled his eyes, and scribbled A lot of things... onto a piece of paper.

 

OOC: Gah, have to go, be back later.

 

OOC: Hrm, okay, see ya later.

 

Bella sighed and stood up, walking over to the port side and looking into the sea. She looked into its depths as she leaned over the railing and before she nearly sank into them, she glanced over at the others near the awakened Skinnar, focusing on one in particular. She sighed again and looked up at the sky. She didn't join them because she knew they had it handled..And because she knew that it wasn't a really good idea right now..

 

Geryl walked out of teh cabin and walked over to where teh wheel was at and watched behind teh ship.

 

A small thump on the deck rung out behind Geryl and another one behind Bellatrix...

 

Geryl turned sword already to slash.

 

Highwind's sword met Geryl's.

"Boo," Highwind said, his eyes blood red (normally, they're black.)

 

who are you? He asked.

 

"It's been a while," Highwind said. "I wouldn't expect you to remember me."

Highwind withdrew his sword and brought it close to his face. "Tell me, are you game?"

 

OOC: Do you mean Cid?

BIC: No. He said.

 

OOC: Cid? I don't really know who you're talking about...

BIC: Highwind chuckled. "Too bad. I guess I'll just skip the dramatic swordplay then, and skip to the part where I eat you..."

 

OOC: Cid highwind, the guy that smokes in Hollow Bastion in Merlin's house?

BIC: I'd like to see you try. He said.

 

OOC: Oh, yeah, him. But now I'm way confused. Explain your question 'Do you mean Cid?' please?

BIC: Highwind laughed, and brought his sword to point position. "I'll ask again, are you game?"
