The Ultimate Organization II

OOC: Hey ya'll, sorry I've been gone for a week or so... Lately, everyone I know has wanted to talk with me...
for days un-end.... So yeah, I'm out of it. Whats going on?

 

OOC: Darxess's fight is over. Ares, the god of war, is dead.

 

OOC: Darxess seemed a little bit like the old Darxess in that fight.

 

OOC:That is what I was aiming for. A lot of his past is going to be explored in this tournament.

Also, I think I might have decided my opponent. How about I fight a tree?

 

OOC: I'll PRM you Nulix. A tree...sounds definitely interesting. If you, *cough* take long enough, you'll be able to skip Round 2 completely. But try to keep it short, Round 2 will be waning very soon...

BIC: "Yeah," Xardius said, pulling out Chomper. "But something telling me this one'll be different..."

The Death Machine, as it was called, stood to its full height of nearly four meters, extending its massive arms. One was equipped with a massive blade running the length of the arm, and claws extended from mechanical fingers. The other arm was equipped with what Xardius decided was a missile launcher and gatling gun. In the middle of its body stood a massive head, bristling with automatic weaponry, and several grenade launchers, as well as several missile tubes to either side. Inside sat Garland, back in his helmet, laughing maniacally. The Death Machine took a step forward, and Odin clenched his fist in the air.

A shield of impenetrable material coated the entire arena, shimmering once before disappearing into invisibility.

"There's no getting out of this then," Xardius said. "Smart, to disguise it as a shield for the crowd. This is like a steel cage in a wrestling match."

Pointing Chomper at the Death Machine, Xardius growled. "Of course, this just means I won't hold back..."

Garland scoffed and his garbled voice came out of a speaker on the Death Machine. "We'll see who's the better now, macho boy!"

Spinning rapidly, the gatling gun opened fire and ripped bullets towards Xardius' position, but he was already moving, signaling for Wing to get in position for the two-person X-Slash maneuver he'd taught him when he was still a Guardian...

 

Wing nodded, while getting into position and using wind to send the bullets off track.


"Only slightly different, no summoner this time!" Wing said with a laugh.

 

OOC:Its name is Yggdrasil, and it would probably be better suited for a round 3 fight, since round 2 is about to end.

 

OOC: Wait. You're going to fight Yggdrasil? I'm not sure if that's a great idea...Mostly because it's kinda impossible...

 

OOC: Pirate, you know a lot about Norse myths.... did you take a class? or read about it online? I think its really cool, and want to learn about it myself.

 

OOC: Well, I know a whole lot about them because of a research project I had to do in the seventh grade. I read a whole lot of books on them, and I retained the information. Well, most of the information...

 

OOC: Wow thats really cool, I wish I could have learned something interesting like that in school...all i learned about Norway and such is that they discovered america first and stuff...yeah... I'll have to read into them, thanks!

 

OOC: Yup! It's too bad that I don't remember the names of any of the books I read, though...

BIC: "Now a robot?" Xane asked, dodging bullets. "Why would gods keep a robot? Isn't it a little too advanced for them?

 

Wing was now in position, and waiting for Xardius command. He threw up a wind shield around Xane, allowing him to save his energy for fighting rather then dodging bullets.


"Remember who's sponsoring this tournament Xane, the brotherhood. They probably loaned it to the gods just to kill us. These gods do seem easily bought out though..."

 

OOC:I was planning that it would be similar to your fight with Athena. However, the fight would not be witnessed by any other characters (You can still read what happens, but your characters won't see what happened) and, it would take place even further in the past than the entire U.O.

 

OOC: ????

BIC: Xardius spun forward, Chomper slashing forward as Wing danced in from the side. They hit dead center, Wing ducking under Xardius' massive swing to slice at the same instant. Electricity sprayed outwards, hitting Wing and Xardius and slamming them back. Xardius helped Wing to his feet, and stared.

Before their very eyes, the huge power chords they'd just cut began to knit themselves back together.

"The way I see it," Xardius said, as the Death Machine finished its regeneration and began stomping towards them, the gatling gun whining, "is that we're going to have to work fast. And Xane, you're definitely right. This is Brotherhood. I've seen this guy before...on Larenska. Long story."

"Last time," he said, slamming Chomper into the ground, "it took a severe beating, limps ripped off, cpu smashed...and it still was regenerating, so smashing it to bits isn't going to help. The only way to stop it is to disconnect the pilot from the machine forcibly, thereby inducing the self-destruct sequence. This is to stop random people from climbing in and utilizing the technology, or taking it apart and finding out about it. However, getting to the pilot is the hard part...It's the most heavily armored."

"I can get us past the electricity, but you'll have to do the cutting and smashing things," he said to Xane and Wing. "Get Garland out, then just throw him back into the explosion."

 

OOC: Hey i finished a new AMV its about Xardius and Wing (partener vid was easy because the two characters we use in vids...) I want to do more of them though! Anyways, heres the link, hope you enjoy!

The vid takes place right after this round in the tournament and shows past fights, and possible future ones.





BIC: Wing nodded, "Alright we'll do our best. Garland won't survive this time!" Wing then ducked and dodged under and over the Death Machine's attacks. He mad it to the machine and jumped on top of it, and began to slam his key blades down into the metal... barely making a single scratch.

"Damn....this is one time Twilight would come in handy..." Wing said summoning all his strength to put into his attacks.

 

OOC: Wow Wing, that looks great. Probably my favorite thing about the video was the subtitles, that was a good idea.

BIC: Nulix stood around anyone who wasn't fighting...

 

OOC: thanks Nulix i'm glad you liked it! sorry about Vecked having glasses though...

 

OOC: Why has no one posted!? Has there been a holocaust of UO members that I wasn't aware of!? Should I be worried!? Ah! Just a shadow...

XD, my attempt at humor underlying a bit of confusion over certain members' absences and the reluctance of other members to post...

BIC: Xardius, meanwhile, was concentrating heavily on ripping through the electric guard of the Death Machine, while simultaneously seizing up its connections and stopping it from attacking. Last time, he'd gone full out, but he refused at the moment to do so, causing sweat to drip from him and his muscles to shake in spasms, denying the amount of power Xardius was attempting to run into them without releasing his seal.

It was amazing, Xardius thought, as Garland punched the console in front of him in frustration, how he could feel himself expanding in power...Either he was really growing stronger, or his seal was weakening...

Finally, he found himself able to loosen the energy around the armor where Wing was cutting. Garland looked up as Wing's next slice dove into the metal, burning through easily.

"Hurry," Xardius muttered, clenching his fists tightly and swaying slightly...

 

"You want me to hit the thing or what?" Xane questioned.
