Momo made a happy sound.

Katara looked out the window and didn't say anything.

 

"You lied to me, Zen. I should be mad." Garxena walked up to her room. She sat on her bed and sighed. More sad though..... Zen was my first real friend... and now I see... he's a fake...

Kai looked at Zentaro. "You should've told her in a different way."

 

"To fix this I should.... apologize, correct?" Zentaro looked back at Kai.

 

Silax turned around and shook his head, "I don't know what is wrong with you....but you sound almost like what I am....a replica...." he said, "you act like you don't even know how to live....."

 

"Silax... Zen doesn't have emotions. He grew up without them." Kai sounded like she cared. "But, Zen.... you should apologize."

Garxena went to her window, leaning out, letting the wind blow her hair in her face. I knew there was something different about him.... but, why'd it have to be this?

 

"Right. I will do so." Zentaro stood up. "I do not know where she is though."

 

Kai sighed. "Come with me." She took his hand and led him to Garxena and her room. "Go talk to her. I'll let you two alone." She went back to the lobby.

 

Zentaro knocked on the door. "It is me. May I have entry?"

 

Garxena stepped away from her window. She fixed her hair and opened the door for Zentaro. "You want to talk to me?"

"They should be able to fix it." Kai sat on a couch.

 

"If it would be tolerated." Zentaro said.

 

"Jeez. Just come in." Garxena sat on her bed. "Why didn't you tell me?"

 

Kairi sat down, "I'm sure they will."

Mika looked around the beach as they walked, "What do you think of it here?" she asked Harmony, "I like it, myself."

 

"I wanted to see you smile." Zentaro went in, closing her door. "If you knew who I was, you would not smile. You were alone, and confused. So I became the person that you needed." He stood by her bed.

 

Katara just stared out the window at the ground below, not saying anything.

Momo flew around and landed on Kai's shoulder.

 

Silax walked over to a chair and sat down, "so now we have hidden enemies...." he said leaning back, "how comforting is that....." he sighed.

 

"I may not know him very well, but it might take a while." Kai pet Momo.

"So you pitied me. Made me feel better for the time. So I could think that I was able to do something. Now I'm here. And look at who I am! I can't do anything!" She stood, turning away from Zentaro so he wouldn't see her on the verge of crying.

 

Zentaro stood still. "I am sorry."

 

Katara closed her eyes.

Momo made some small, happy noises and then flew out the window.

 

Kairi sighed, "He's not hidden anymore, Silax. And I'm sure he didn't want to hurt her. They'll work it out, friends always can."

 

"Forget it." Garxena shook her head, tears coming from her eyes. "Like you said... it's only a job."

Kai watched Momo leave. "He's so unpredictable."
