Glancing at Silax, Kotone looked away. "It doesn't matter...I can't feel any happiness from it..."

 

Silax sighed and walked over to Kotone, "whats the matter Kotone?" he asked concerned, "are you still not feeling well?"

 

"I'm fine," Kotone said, stiffly, looking up at him. "Why should you care?"

 

"Why shouldn't I?" Silax said looking her in the eyes, "your apart of this Organization....I am as well.....but thats not the reason we help each other....its because we are friends too....." he smiled.

 

Katara thought about what Silax said.

Momo flew around happily.

 

Kai sighed. "Garxena, could you and I talk?"

Garxena smiled. "Sure thing, Kai." She and Kai went to a hallway. "What is it?"

"Tell me what's going on. I'm sick of you lying to us." Kai looked her in the eyes.

"Honestly, Kai, by the end of this, you're going to be happy I did." Garxena started getting frustrated. "I'm doing this for you all. Shouldn't you be happy?"

"No, Garxena." Kai put her hands on Garxena's shoulders. "What's going on? What have you planned?"

Garxena calmly took Kai's hands off her shoulders. ''I'm going to fight Takeshi. We made a deal. Don't mess it up, Kai." She walked away.

 

Silax walked up behind Kai, "so thats what she is planning....I couldn't find a set date...." he said blankly, "seems whenever they want to fight and its convient they will....." he said watching her leave, "I love you Garxena...."

 

"I'm not letting her do this. Something bad is going to happen." Kai shook her head. In so little time, she's changed. She's become hard.... I don't like where this is going.

Garxena went to the roof. She sat on the edge, letting her feet hang over. I thought you'd be happy Kai. I'm going to do this. I'm not backing out. I'm not bringing help. Zentaro would understand. He knows where I'm coming from.

 

Silax looked down at Kai, "don't think you will be the only one...." he said before portaling up to the roof, "So your saying I wouldn't understand...." he said walking over and sitting next to Garxena, "after all we are a couple....destined in love to be together forever....."

 

Garxena smiled. "I know. But it seems everyone wants to be there for me. I want to do this alone. It's part of the deal too. Takeshi doesn't want anyone there..... neither do I." She looked out at the stars. "I can do it. Even if I can't, I won't give up."

 

"We are a Organization Garxena....." Silax smiled pulling her close, "one of our jobs is to look out for each other.....but for me its to protect you and make sure your safe......" he said gently kissing her.

 

"That's why I'm doing this! To protect everyone!" Garxena stood up. "Why doesn't anyone understand? I'm not going to be the damsel anymore." She turned around. "I'm going to find Zentaro." She went down the stairs, her arms wrapped around her stomach. Don't start crying. She told herself, blinking back tears.

 

Silax portaled downstairs and embraced her in a hug, "Garxena.....I love you....." he said looking her in the eyes, "we do things together now....we are a couple......" he smiled gently touching her face.

 

Garxena let her arms hang by her sides. "I love you too." She lowered her head. ''It's just.... none of this should be happening. I shouldn't be here..... if Dexeon hadn't..... My Somebody should be living a normal life! But I'm here instead...."

 

"And whats wrong with being here?" Silax smiled moving some hair off her face, "your here for a reason....one I believe is for us to be together....to love each other until we both return to that dark abyss and be bonded together in love for eternity....." he said taking her hand, "but hopefully we can love each other for eternity while we are still alive...." he said pulling her close and gently kissing her, "I love you Garxena....."

 

Garxena kissed Silax, her arms around his neck. He's right. I guess I have a reason after all.

BIC: "I want you to just enjoy the love we have for each other Garxena right now....." Silax said holding her gently close, he deepened the kiss a little, "we will always be together Garxena......my love......"

 

"Ooh...maybe I should get out of here..." Ryxia said as she appeared in the room. "I seem to have a knack for interrupting, huh?"

 

Silax broke the kiss with Garxena and looked at the girl, "no its ok....." he grinned, "but one thing....who are you...."

Yeifou portaled in behind Ryxia, "so tell me....." he said whispering it in her ear, "where have you been hiding all this time....because I've missed you....." he grinned embracing her.

 

"Yeifou! What's up?" Ryxia cried, returning the embrace. "They don't call me the Twilight Wanderer for nothing, you know. I got lost, but I found my way back!"
