Kai didn't flnch. "She's with a friend." She said what Garxena told her to. "I'm sure she's alright."

Silax looked at her, "lying....is not a good way to keep my trust Kai...." he said blankly, "one more chance....where is she....before I search your mind....."

 

Kai sighed. "I don't know. She left before we fought with Takeshi...."

 

Kairi walked to a window and looked out.

Mika found a room with books stacked on a desk. She picked one up opened it at random. It was in the form of a dairy but wasn't dated or signed. It talked about darkness and harnessing it's power. She sat down and began reading from the beginning.

 

"Your telling the truth.....why did she leave before I go searching for her...." Silax said blankly, "if she leaves I do too.....me and her love each other....."

 

"She told me not to tell you." Kai said. She touched the locket. "She doesn't plan on coming back..."

Garxena sat on the beach on Destiny Islands, the waves gently playing at her feet. I feel bad leaving Silax.... but if I stayed, I would only have caused more trouble... this is better for everyone.

 

"Right......well a compromise will be reached......" Silax said concentrating, "so thats where she is....her thoughts won't betray her....." he said opening a portal, "would you like to come along?" he asked.

 

"She won't come back. She's too stubborn. She left because she thought she was causing us trouble." Kai sighed. "I'll come."

Garxena stood, pacing the beach. I thought Riku said Sora was here. Oh well, I should explore. She walked off.

 

"We shall see about that...." Silax said walking into the portal, "I will not let our love die just like that...."

 

Kai followed him.

Garxena walked into the cave. She knelt, placing a hand on the cave's wall next to the drawings. How cute..... I'll have to talk to Sora about this. She looked up. What was that? I thought I heard something.

 

A figure stood in front of Garxena. "I know much of you. Come with me." The figure extended a hand to Garxena.

 

That voice.... it sounds familiar... Garxena reached out to take the hand.

Kai looked around the beach. "She's not here."

 

"It's okay. I'm a friend." The figure stepped into view. "Remember me?"

 

"Zentaro?" Garxena asked cautiously. She took her hand back.

 

"Yeah. It's me, Garxena." Zentaro stepped towards her, smiling.

 

"I can't believe it!" Garxena gave Zentaro a hug. "Last time I saw you was Twilight Town. Remember?" She stepped back, hooking a strand of hair behind her ear.

 

Silax portaled out onto Destiny Islands, "hmmm....now finding her shouldn't be hard....this is a small island...." he said looking around, "Garxena....where are you....."

 

"I do. You said you didn't know what happened. That you were alone and needed help. After a while, you left. I came here on buisness but I'm glad I found you. Have you been doing okay?" Zentaro put his hands in his pockets.
