Momo's ears suddenly perk up and he starts to fly around the rrom, making little sounds of urgency.

What is it, Momo...?" Katara asked, noticing the lemur behaving strangely.

 

Kotone walked down the hallway, her long black hair swooshing softly behind her. Harmony...Harmony... she calls her sister's name telepathically, making sure she would be the only one to hear if she was in the proximity. Harmony...where are you?
There was no response...there wasn't one ever...ever since that day...
Biting her lower lip, Kotone forced that that thought to disperse. She wouldn't remember that day...not those memories...not again...
Halting, she closed her eyes, checking to see if anyone was close by before focusing entirely on Harmony's mind, sending a message to her directly that would reach her no matter what. However, the moment she connected her mind with Harmony's, she felt as if a cold hand clenched itself around her. Gasping, she opened her eyes, and an extreme heat wave washed over her instead. Grasping the wall for support, she could feel herself breathing hard, and a sharp pain resonating in her chest. Bringing her fist to her chest, she tried to balance herself, catching her breath.
What...what is this? Why is...why is it like this? Inhaling and exhaling slowly, the pain slowly disappeared as she straightened. Harmony...what exactly...happened?

 

Momo continued to fly around urgently and then suddenly flew out the window.

"Momo? What's wrong?" Katara suddenly took off down the hallway towards te door.

 

Silax woke up the next morning on the couch, "what the heck....I guess I must have been tired....." he said sitting up, "all that darkness I guess...." he sighed looking at the spots where his veins had been dark.

 

Momo flew around in circles outside.

Katara ran outside after Momo. "Wait!" she shouted and grabbed Momo. "What's wrong...?"

 

Silax got up and stretched, "well it looks like Kairi is having a good sleep as well....." he said looking down at her, "and Katara has run off somewhere....I think I'll get some breakfast....." he said heading towards the kitchen but on his way spotting Kotone. "Kotone are you ok?" he asked helping her, he put his arm around her neck and waist for support, "what happened?" he asked gently carrying her back to the lobby.

 

Katara took Momo back inside and stroked him gently. "Calm down..." she said.

Momo still made small sounds of urgency but seemed to settle down a bit.

 

Silax noticed Katara come in with Momo, "is everything ok?" he asked looking at Momo's movements, "he seems a little shocked...."

 

"I don't know what's wrong..." Katara said and stroked Momo's head. "He just started to act weird... "

Momo made little urgent sounds as Katara pet his head.

 

Garxena woke up on the couch. "I hate it when I do that." She rubbed her eyes.

Hiro snored on her lap.

"Cute, Hiro." Garxena moved him to a pillow on the couch. "Where is everyone?"

Kai turned to face Garxena. "They should be back soon." She sat next to Garxena.

Garxena sighed. "I want to take you somewhere, Kai. How about it?"

Kai nodded. I wonder if she wants to talk to me?

 

Kairi woke up and opened her eyes, "What did I miss?" she asked sitting up.

Mika continued walking around Telren's second base, looking into each room.

 

Silax gently laid Kotone on a couch, "you should rest....you look like you have been through a lot....you do know we are here for you as well?" he smiled, he looked up, "Hey Kai.....hey Garxena....." he said walking over and kissing Garxena gently once.

 

Momo calmed down a bit.

That's better..." Katara said and smiled, letting Momo go.

 

Garxena smiled. "We'll be back in a little while." She told Silax. Garxena and Kairi portaled to The World That Never Was. "It might not be what you like, but I think it's amazing." Garxena said.

"It is." Kai looked around, marveling at the skyscrapers. "I've never been here before."

Garxena leaned against a skyscraper. "Kai..... there's something we need to talk about."

"What is it? Did something happen?" Kai wrapped an arm around Garxena's shoulders.

"You can't tell Silax." Garxena bit her lip.

"What are you thinking?" Kai asked worridly.

"I'm leaving. I'm too much trouble for everyone. Without me, they can deal with Takeshi. And...." Garxena stepped away from Kai. "I don't think I'm coming back."

 

Silax wonder what it was Garxena was doing, but shook it off, "she can handle herself...and if she needs my help she will call....." he walked back over to the couch and sat down, "he seems to have calmed down some....." he smiled refering to Momo.

 

Katara smiled as she watched Momo fly around the room. "Yeah..." she said. "But I still can't help but wonder what was wrong..."

Momo flew around the room happily.

 

Kai took Garxena's hands in her own. "Where are going? What will you do once you're there?"

Garxena looked down. "I don't know. But I'll think of that later. Kai, please.... just don't tell Silax. If you have to tell him anything, tell him I..." Garxena took her hands back, opening a portal. "I went to see a friend or something...."

Kai hugged Garxena. "This is a big step. You sure you want to go alone? Hiro could come with you."

Garxena stepped away. "I'll be alright." She took off the locket and gave it back to Kai. "Bye." She went through the portal, closing it behind her.

Kai put the locket around her neck. She's doing this for the good of her friends. It's a hard sacrifice.

 

Silax leaned back on the couch, "true.....it was rather odd for him to just start acting that way...." he said, "does he have the ability to sense things?"

 

Kai sighed. "Now I just need to find a way back." she laughed slightly.

Hiro flew over to Silax. "Kai go bye-bye. When she be back?"

 

Silax looked at Hiro, "I know they have been gone a while.....they both have...." he said glancing at the door, "perhaps I should read their thoughts....just to make sure they are ok....." he said concentrating.
