"Anywhere else," Harmony said, walking past Silax and around the hallway.

 

"Kay." Mika squeezed Silax's hand gently as she walked past him. Then she started looking for somewhere and found an abandoned room and walked in."This will do right? So, go ahead, I'll listen."

 

Stepping inside, Harmony clasped her hands together, drawing in her breath.
"Alright...let me tell you...about...everything," she said. "My sister, Kotone, and I...we were taken from our families when we were young...a group of scientists, magicians, or whatever they were...they wanted to use to someone to experiment on. Kotone was special...having the ability to read minds, and well I...they just assumed I was 'unique' like her..." She gave an acrimonious smile.
"So they injected within us this formula, against our will...I was not sure what it was supposed to do, but the only thing it gave us was adverse affects. Kotone's heart beat so hard, all the time, and any time she felt anything more than calmness, it would hurt...after suffering without happiness, without any peace of mind, she decided to remove her own heart - thought it would make things easier...unfortunately, it didn't. That formula had increased her mind-reading abilities, and now, she can't stop reading everyone's minds, ever...even when she's sleeping..." She sighed, unclasping her hands.
"As for me...every so often...I transform into this...half-dragon creature, and I can't even think. I can't control myself, I just...attack...without a second thought...and it's growing more and more unstable...soon...I'll probably be that way...forever..."
She looked downward, a tear drop falling from her eye.

 

Mika put her hand on Harmony's shoulder again,"You've been fighting this since then, alone, haven't you?" she thought for a second and then said,"Do you know any way the formula could be reversed? I will help you any way I can." She is always used and never listened to, I can see that. I'll just have to help her however I can.

"I'm sorry...I don't," Harmony said, her gaze still locked with the floor. "Kotone...might know more...with her mind-reading ability...but...bringing up that subject...won't be a good idea..."
Remembering at how harshly she spoke with her sister earlier, she felt a twinge of regret. Kotone had been through much worse than her, and still so...and she herself had acted so selfish, not caring a bit about her sister, only herself...

Silax sighed, "Oh thats right.....the only Silax she knows is the one who was controled by Telren...." he said, "I can understand not wanting to trust me...." he said heading to the library.

 

"Riku...." Garxena looked up at him. "We need to talk. But not here."

Riku smiled. "Sure." They went to Garxena's room. "Okay, let's here it."

Garxena sat on her bed. "Riku... uum..."

"Is this about Kyo?" Riku sat next to Garxena.

"No... it's about Silax." Garxena sighed.

Riku glanced at Garxena expectantly.

"I think....... I still......." Garxena hesitated.

"I understand." Riku got up. "I'm still here for you." Riku left her room and headed back to the lobby.

 

Frostex sat in Telren's old lair. "How do you resurect a heartless that is more powerful than you..." he said to himself.

 

Takeshi turned to Frostex. "Do you speak of Telren? I tried to bring him back with no avail."

 

"He was brought back twice before." said Frostex. "How it happened, I wish I knew."

 

"So you've had experience with this? I would think that such a powerful being would not face such an end." Takeshi looked around.

 

"All things will eventually come to an end." said Frostex. "Just wondering, why haven't I seen you before around here? You new?"

 

"Yes. I came here for Kai. But, I find her sister, Garxena, to be more..." Takeshi smirked. "interesting."

 

Frostex laughed. "There are not many things to do. Silax was the only other one that was a being of darkness that wasn't Telren. It wasn't a very big group."

 

"You need to find yourself a girl. There's plenty to do with them." Takeshi laughed.

 

Silax sat down at a table and took out the book from his coat, "now lets see here....I believe there was something that could help Garxena....." he said looking at the book, "something that would allow her to block out Takeshi......"

 

Frostex laughed again. "You find one girl that likes me, and I'll give you all the munny i could." he said.

 

Garxena stayed on her bed. I'm sorry Riku. I wanted to say it more kindly. Something like: 'I was happiest with Silax.' She sighed. What I need to focus on is him.

 

Takeshi smirked. "Who said she had to like you? Garxena may not love me, but when she sees what I can do, she won't have a choice."

 

Frostex sighed. "That would be kinda of awkward considering I don't have emotions." he said sitting back. "All of them tend to avoid me."
