Kairi hit the door with her fist,"Let me out! Don't do this Silax! Don't make my memories fade again!" she felt her anger boil up but she quelled it and stood back. "You can't change my heart!" she sat down and closed her eyes, focusing all the light in her and let it spread through her.

 

Xeal laughed at the Hiro's antics"Ok,I'll help you but first, i NEED to talk with Garxena privately.So if you could help me find her that would be great."

 

"Why shouldn't I?" Silax said mixing some chemicals and vials, "its not like you care about what I want....I gave you a chance....I asked what you would do to keep this old life....."

 

Kai's face saddened. "I don't know where she is. Last I saw, she was with Kyo and they were fleeing a bunch of soldiers. I think Riku went to look for them too."

Hiro sank to the ground. "Me tired." He yawned and lay on his back, snoring.

"Jeez Hiro." Kai picked him up. "I want to find her just as much as you." She addressed Xeal.

Garxena held Kyo's head. He's bleeding badly. I have to do something. Garxena tried not to cry. "Kyo please, say something. Let me know you're okay." A tear escaped her eye.

Riku came up slowly behind Garxena. He looked at her and Kyo. What happened? Did he...... protect her? But that Haku guy said....... He put a hand on Garxena's shoulder. "Garxena, are you-?"

Garxena jerked away from him. "Kyo, don't let go. Don't leave me." Her face streaked with tears. I'm loosing everyone....

Riku stepped back and stayed quiet.

 

Xeal sighed and said,"Well its just that I'm...*cough*In love with Garxena*cough*"

 

Kairi kept her eyes shut,"And I answered, I said I won't hurt anyone for you. But that doesn't mean you should do this. You have no idea what my memories mean to me, or what it feels like when you realize what you've forgotten." she bit her lip for a second,"You don't care though, do you? That feeling is one you will never have to feel. So I guess I will just wait and fight whatever you do to me... that is all I can do for now." she channeled the light through herself into her heart's core, strengthing her light.

 

Kai eyed Xeal. "So was the Telren replica. And Kyo. And Riku." Kai rocked Hiro. "I know she can handle herself. It's Kairi that I'm worried about. Come if you like, I'm going to find her." Kai headed off to Ansem's study. This is going to be another walk. Nobodies are lucky they can portal.

 

"You should see what we've been through...All the times i've faded..."Xeal said as he opened a portal."You lead the way Kai, I'll help you find Kairi and kill anyone who stands in my way."

 

"Who said I never cared...." Silax said walking over to a machine, "you never did trust me....you were always watching me......" he sighed putting some of the chemicals and vials into the machine, "isn't that right...?"

 

"They went through some door in Ansem's study. There was a long descending staircase. And it was dark." Kai went through the portal with Xeal behind her. "I don't know what's down there. I don't even know if we can get through again." She woke up Hiro. "Be on you're guard. And remember, Hiro, this isn't a game."

Hiro floated around their heads. "No game. We go find pretty girl........ Ka.... Kai..... Kairi!" He spun in a circle. "Me got name right!"

Kai rolled her eyes and smiled. "The littlest things make a Moogle so happy." she muttered.

 

Kairi shrugged,"Well, I tryed trusting you and look where it got me, in a cell where you are going to try and turn me into Aerin again." she smiled softly,"That says, to me, that I should never have stopped watching you."

 

Xeal summoned his Masamune 999."What a coinkidink,I'm an expert weapons maker!You wanna better sword?"

 

"Or actually....." Silax said turning around to her, "your right...why am I hurting you....when I can make a replica of you that will be my partner of darkness....." he grinned, "thank you for your idea Kairi..." he said preparing the machine.

 

"I've used my Doublesword for years now. It's the best weapon I could have." Kai walked over to the door. She tried to open it with no success. "I'm not wasting time." she kicked it down. "I've done that so many times as a world protector. It gets rather easy after the millionth time." She smiled to herself. "Here we go." She said more seriously, heading down the stairway.

Hiro bobbed after her. "Me wanna see the fun place.... Silax!...... was talking about. Me got another name! Silax say he take me to a fun place." Hiro smiled brightly.

"No Hiro. Silax lied to you. He doesn't do anything that's fun. Trust me and stay with me or Kairi or Xeal. If he tries to take you, you get out of there okay? Don't let him touch you." Kai kept a slightly quick pace.

Me wanna go to fun place.... Hiro floated back to Xeal. "Come new friend. We go find Kairi." He flew back to Kai.

 

Kairi opened her eyes,"My idea? Okay then, whatever you say." she closed her eyes again,"You know that whatever you do to me, I'll make sure to fix. You said it yourself, I have a strong will."

 

Xeal smiled and patted Hiro's ponpon."Don't worry Hiro, I won't let mean old Silax hurt you.Oh and since your a moogle,can you you item synthesis?

Silax grinned, "and your replica will have a strong will as well...." he said operating the machine, "don't worry...all you will expierence is a little energy drain....." he said walking her cell power up.

 

Hiro turned upside down. "Huh?"

Kai kept walking. "He's not the brightest of the bunch. He's got a lot to learn." They reached the bottom of the stairs. "Okay....... how to we get past this?" she observed the black and white door.

Hiro bumped into the door and turned rightside up again. "Ooh! Pretty stipes. Is they items?"

Kai smirked. "No Hiro. It's just a pattern." She ran her hand over the colors. "It's like a lock....... but I don't know how to open it...."

Hiro hit his head against the door. "Open."

Kai shook her head. "You'll hurt yourself that way." She held him, still examining the door.

 

"Opening locks is easy if you gots a keyblade!"Xeal said as he pulled out his Road to Twilight keyblade. A beam of light shot from the keyblade and went into the lock.'Try to open it now."He said and he looked at Hiro and hugged him."Omigosh you're so obliviously adorable!"

 

Okay.... Well this is offically one of my worst days.... let's see if I can't make it better. Kairi smiled,"Okay, have it your way then." she started humming an old tune she knew well to keep her mind busy as she let the light she had stregthened flow through every part of her so that her whole being was light. He can probably make a dark replica anyway but at least this should help. He can't make too dark a replica if I am light enough.
