Kairi nodded,"Okay..." she put her hand out to let the rain land on it.

 

Silax looked at her confused, "is this some trick....you've never been this accepting of me before...." he stated, "you've always hated me....."

 

"I've never hated you, even if I've hated what you were doing. You have to admit, you were usally trying to turn me dark or something." Kairi pulled her hand back from under the rain,"I just think that if you are on our side, then we could be friends, right?"

OOC: sorry it took so long to post, I had to go help in the garage. :P

 

Silax looked at her, "hmm.....friends...." he said staring blankly ahead, "even if your willing to be friends with someone from the darkness...." he said looking down at her.

 

"If you are on our side, it doesn't really matter if you are of darkness, I hope. I don't want to be enemies."

 

Silax thought, "hmm....no matter what I do....no matter what I accomplish....I am destined to return back to darkness...." he said stopping, "but Jordxy.....she isn't.....she has light......" he said looking down, "I want to be with her forever....."

 

Kairi stopped too,"Then be with her forever. Light and dark are opposites, but they don't have to stop you from being with those you love."

 

"But when we die.....we will go to different places....she will go to where ever light does....and I will return to my dark abyss....." Silax said opening a portal, "I'm sorry.....I must go...." he said stepping into the portal.

 

Kairi felt the rain coming down on her as he left."Okay, do what you need to." she smiled and lifted her face to the rain. "That feels nice, but I'd better get back inside." she started walking back to the lobby.

 

Silax portaled into Ansem's study, "here I can find out to increase my power of darkness..." he said entering a password into the computer and a door opening, "hmm....lets see what I can find...."

 

Kairi went inside the lobby and sat down. She wiped off some of the water on her arms and face. "The rain's nice." she mused quietly.

Silax portaled back into the headquarters, "Well that was tiresome...." he said with a sigh sitting down on a couch, "oh well....I'll just relax for a while...."

 

Kai stroked Hiro. You need somewhere safe to stay. Obviously, my ship won't do. Perhaps you could just stay in my and Garxena's room. That should work. She smiled. I don't know what I would've done without you, Hiro. She looked up at Kairi. "Rain can be nice every once in a while."

Hiro yawned and opened his eyes. Rain?! Weee! Me like rain! He bounced upwards and flew to a window. Oooh! Me see rain.

 

Silax looked over at Kai, "your sure care about something like....." he said opening his eyes, "rather troublesome it seems......"

 

Kai laughed, watching Hiro bob around the window. "He can be a bit of a burden sometimes. But I owe my life to him. And he's great company. He knows how to cheer me up too. I just wish I knew what he was thinking. He won't talk at all. I don't think he ever has." Kai frowned. "Sometimes I wonder if something happened...."

 

Kairi laughed as Hiro bobbed,"I'm sure he will if he ever needs to. He is wonderful Kai, where did you two meet anyway?"

 

Silax leaned up, "if you would like I can tell you....." he said standing up, "although reading an animals mind doesn't sound too interesting...."

 

Hiro plopped on Kairi's head. Pretty girl think me is 'wonderful'!

"You don't have to Silax." She smiled at Kairi and Hiro. "He's taken to you two quickly." She folded her arms over her chest. "We met in a interesting way. I was at my limit in a rough fight. This wacko wanted to get rid of all the Moogles; said they were secretly planning something. Complete nonsense of course. So I engaged this guy. But he turned out to be toughed than I thought. Just when I thought I was finished, Hiro came and bit him! I was shocked at first, but Hiro's distraction provided me enough time to get in and land my last blow. He's stuck with me since."

"Atleast thats one person you have kept your promise to and stuck with...." Silax said getting up, "I'm going to the library....perhaps I can find out more about you Kai....." he said walking to the library.

 

Kairi reached up and scrached behind Hiro's ear,"I like you too." she said, grinning to him. "That is interesting, I've never heard of anyone stupid enough to want to get rid of moogles." she shook her head, but was careful not to knock Hiro off,"Crazy. But good came of it, you and Hiro are friends now. He is very sweet."
