Kairi felt tears fall down her face,"Let me go!" she repeated, quieter this time as she put more energy into fighting.

 

"This would be so much easier with another arm." said Frostex. He pounded in more dark energy.

 

"We will treat you like a sister...." Silax said continuing to let the darkness flow and maintaining a good grip on her shoulders, "we will watch out for you....take care of you....."

 

"What he says is true." said Frostex still letting the dark energy flow. "Darkness is all one big family type thing."

 

"No..."Kairi sobbed. I can't keep this up... she put all her energy into a huge burst of light. Please, please work... she felt herself loose focus after the burst and she fell to her knees.

 

Silax braced and recovered from the burst, he let her fall to her knees, "are you more comfortable that way...." he asked the darkness now slowly climbing up her legs as well, "welcome sister.....welcome to the family of darkness....."

 

Kairi tried to pull herself to her feet but fell back down. "I don't want to join your family... I am of light." she whispered even as the darkness climbed her legs. Someone help me, I can't fight this alone.

 

Silax looked at her, "so what....just because your light you hate the...." he stopped being hit in the face and knocked back.

Yeifou helped Kairi up, "now I think I know whose side your really on...." he said glaring at him, "come on Kairi....I'll take care of you...."

 

Kairi looked up at Yeifou,"Thanks." she muttered gratefully. "I don't think I could lasted that much longer, no matter what I am."

 

Silax touched his face, the cut dripping with darkness instead of blood, "Kairi why.....why do you hate me...." he said looking at her, "after everything I've done.....all the kindness I've shown.....why do you hate the darkness...."

Yeifou looked at him, "do you want to answer that Kairi?" he asked.

 

"Yes I do." Kairi looked at Silax angerly,"I don't hate the darkness. It is part of life but you use it to destroy the light, that is the part I hate. And as for you, you try to turn me dark, you hurt my friends, you hurt me. And then you want me to somehow trust you? Be on your side? No, okay? I won't turn to darkness. Stop trying to tell us you are 'kind' or 'help us'. You don't. You just hurt."

 

Silax grinned, "you have a strong will Kairi...." he said, "hmmm we will be in touch...." he said portaling away.

Yeifou sighed, "finally hes gone...." he said, "your not hurt are you?" he asked concerned.

 

"I don't think so. But I don't think I have any energy left. I can barely even stand by myself." Kairi sat down on a couch. "Thanks again, Yeifou. I don't really know what would have happened if you hadn't shown up."

 

"One of the reasons I'm here...." Yeifou smiled sitting down in a chair, "whew....well thats enough excitement for one day...." he grinned.

 

"I hope so." Kairi closed her eyes and leaned back on the couch. "I know I just woke up but... I think I will go back to sleep. It seems like I lose all my energy ever other minute now." she smiled and drifted off.

Frostex walked away. "Cursed users of light." he said

 

ooc: *sigh* I joined this thread awhile ago, but I was waiten for oxyrt to come on to add me, but as I can see, he hasn't been on for a long time, so I think that I can start now, if it is ok with you guys. I lost the pg that my bio is on, but if anyone needs me to recreate it, then I will. I was the guy who made the charecter max, the tainted rose.

 

Jordxy sensed darkness and frowned "Do you feel It?" she asked Xalan "Yeah...Somethings up" The two ran to where Yeifou and Kairi were but first, they saw Frostex walking away "Huh?" Xalan shook her head "Come on" The two walked Into the room "Hey guys...." Jordxy looked at them "Whats up?"

BIC: Garxena ran to Kai's side once Silax was gone. "Are you alright?"

Kai pushed herself to her feet. "That was really weird."

"I don't want anyone to worry about you." Garxena brushed Kai's bangs over her forehead to hide the S. "Let's go to my room." She portaled.

Kai sat on Garxena's bed. "I'm okay, really."

"That's my line." Garxena smiled. "I've been marked by him before. I know what it does. Please, Kai, don't let him win. All he says are lies." She closed and locked her door.

"Who said I listened to him? I've got a plan. I know it'll work." Kai said matter-of-factly. "I've had experiance with this kind of stuff. Well, not exactly this, but the whole 'join me and we will rule together' thing. It's really annoying after a while."

Garxena nodded. "I'll stay with you when it happens." Garxena sat next to Kai. "I won't leave you."

"And I would never hurt you." Kai hugged Garxena. "We'll stay right here..... until it's over."
