"Just promise me you will be safe...." Silax said gently rubbing her head and kissing it, "I want to be able to be with you...." he smiled.

 

Safe in a fight? Garxena smiled. Her eyes felt heavy, but she kept them open. Sleep comes later....... I want to enjoy being with Silax right now.

 

"Garxena...." Silax smiled looking into her eyes, "may I kiss you love?"

 

Garxena smiled and nodded. Suddenly, there was a sharp pain in her head. What's wrong with me? She groaned and slipped forward. Her eyes closed.

 

Silax held onto her, "Garxena....whats wrong....?" he asked concerned, "whats the matter?"

 

"Silax....'' Garxena couldn't hold on; she let herself fall into unconsciousness.

Kai spun around. "Garxena?" Kai ran over. "What happened? Is she hurt?" Kai was worried. I knew something was up. I should've asked her something!

 

"I don't know...." Silax said worried, "she looked ok.....a little tired...." he said gently touching her face, "I gave her something that will heal her wounds...."

 

Dexeon portaled in. "Right on cue." He smirked at Garxena. "Have you figured it out yet Silax?"

 

"You did this didn't you, Dexeon?" Kai put her hand on her Doublesword. She looked back at Garxena and saw blood dripping from the corner of her mouth. "Oh no...." She knelt by Garxena. What do I do?

OOC: my comp keeps turning on and off. i think i've got it fixed....

 

"I'm curious brother....are you the one who did this...." Silax said looking up at him, "she is on our side now...just because you don't like her doesn't mean you can hurt her...." he said blankly. He looked down at Garxena, "if you won't listen to me then listen to father....he doesn't want betrayal in the family....."

 

"She and I are in a separate family." Dexeon remined him. "And yes, before our 'practice' I added a little something to my Fireblade. I'm quite glad to see it worked. Something you might know as poison." Dexeon said smugly. "I wonder if you can figure out how to help her." he portaled away.

 

"If it's something he made himself, it'll take us forever to find something to help her. And we've probably got a time limit." Kai was worried.

 

Silax stared blankly at Dexeon, "so your willing to risk betraying father just to get your sister...." he said gently touching her forehead, "I know a way...." he said gently placing his hand on her wrist and using the dark energy he made her drink to force up the poison and he absorbed it.

 

Kai watched, amazed. But won't that hurt him? We'll still have to find something to combat the poison....

Garxena coughed and opened her eyes a little. She smiled weakly at Silax, and closed her eyes again.

 

Silax winced but smiled, "I love you Garxena...." he said kissing her gently on the cheeks, he gently laid her head on the couch, "I think I'll take a walk...." he said getting up holding his chest and walking off.

 

Kai watched him go and then turned to Garxena. She brushed the hair out of her face. "I'll watch you. I won't let brother hurt you anymore." Kai promised. "I don't really know what's going on. I can tell there's two sides. I know you've got friends. But why you changed sides, I don't know that. I want to talk to you, Garxena." Kai rubbed the blood away. "When you feel better of course."

Garxena heard someone talking, but they sounded so far away. Who's with me? Where am I? What happened? Where's Silax?? She wanted to move, but her body wouldn't listen to her. I've got to move......

 

Silax opened a portal and stepped through it, "this poison is fairly strong...." he said reappearing in Ansem's study, "but.....my darkness can handle it....I just need to rest...." he said leaning up against a wall.

 

Dexeon portaled to Ansem's study. "You spoiled my game." He said mockingly. "You shouldn't interfere in family buisness. My sister and I have a score to settle. Unless you want to do it for her? She does have to fight that Kyo soon." Dexeon thought for a moment. "Nah, I'll just have to try harder to get to her. But I swear, that poison would've worked..."

 

Garxena opened her eyes and pushed herself up. "Where... is he?" She asked weakly.

Kai supported her. "Gone. I'm sure he'll be back soon. Please, just rest for now."

"You sound like Mother." Garxena laughed but it turned into a cough.

Kai gently laid her back down. "Take it easy. I'll stay with you."

 

"Shes apart of Telrens group now whether you like it or not....so since you won't listen to me listen to him..." Silax said the posion flowing down his arm and into a dark orb in his hand, he destroyed it. "There is your poison....luckily I am pure darkness.....no effect what so ever other than me just wanting to get it out...." he opened a portal and stepped in. "Garxena...." he said walking over to her.
