Garxena yanked away. "You want to know?! I'm scared, okay?! I feel like I can't do anything anymore! I just want someone there for me! Who'll tell me it's okay, even when nothing is right....." She felt tears rolling down her cheeks. "I feel so useless...."

 

Silax gently embraced her, "I don't quite understand that...." he said, "but it seems it has taken its toll on you...." he said looking down at her.

 

"I don't know what to do anymore..."Garxena rested her head on him. "I may as well leave. I'm nothing but trouble to everyone...." She suppressed another wave of tears.

 

Silax looked at her, "Garxena....join Telren...." he said looking her in the eyes, "trust me....you will have the power....and I will be there with you...." he smiled, "you won't have to do anything you don't want to do....you won't have anyone telling you what to do...." he said gently taking her hand.

 

"But, what about everyone else? What would they think of me as? A traitor?" Garxena asked. Wait..... is this just to get me on Telren's side? Was that what he wanted all along? I can't tell....

 

"All I ever did was show you kindness...." Silax said holding her close, "you wouldn't be a traitor.....you can always visit.....look at me....Telren doesn't really care what I do....you would have the same freedom...." he smiled gently touching her cheek, "and you would be with me...if that helps at all...."

 

Garxena thought about it. She looked Silax in the eyes. "Alright."

 

Silax smiled and gently kissed her on the cheek, "I'm glad to here that...." he said taking her hand, "lets us tell Telren...." he said opening a portal.

 

I'm sorry Kyo.... Garxena took a last look around before going through the portal with Silax.

 

Silax portaled in with Garxena, "father....we have someone who will join us...." he said.

Telren turned around, "so Garxena...you have finally decided have you....I would like to hear it for myself if you please...." he grinned.

 

Garxena brushed away any last second thoughts. "I've come to join you." She hoped her voice hadn't wavered.

 

"Welcome to the family...." Telren grinned walking over to her, he held his hand infront of her face and withdrew the make on her forehead, he gently touched her arm and a black T was shown, "there.....a mark to show you are apart of the family...the only way to remove that mark is by the one who put it there...." he walked back up to his throne and sat down, "I have elsewhere to be...." he said portaling away.

Silax smiled, "welcome to the family...." he said hugging her, "I'm glad to see you here..." he said gently kissing her on the lips once.

 

Garxena blushed and then looked at her arm. "I've gotta stop wearing sleeveless shirts." She joked.

Kai looked out the window. "Where are you Garxena?"

 

"About the family..." Silax said, "we aren't actually a family....we just all have darkness in us....." he smiled, "something father likes to have us say....but we don't have to say it....." he leaned closer to her, "may I kiss you again...?"

 

Garxena thought about Riku. He won't feel the same once he finds out... "Yes."

Kai stood up and went outside. "I'll find her somewhere around here."

Riku stared through the flames. Garxena?

 

Silax pulled her close to him and gently kissed her. He gently massaged her back and held her close.

 

"Garxena?!" Riku was astonished.

Garxena jumped. "Riku?" She saw her brother. "I should've known."

 

"Well, don't you two look happy together? Did you forget about Riku that quickly sister?" Dexeon sneered. "Don't worry, Riku's quite comfortable."

 

"Should have known?!?!" Silax said looking at her, "you think I had something to do with this....after everything I've done for you Garxena....." he said.

 

"No, not you. I was talking about my brother." Garxena said to Silax. She glared at Dexeon. "I don't even know what to say to you."

"Garxena, just get out of here! They want you on Telren's side!" Riku warned.

Garxena turned to show him her arm. "A little late, Riku."

"But-" Riku shook his head. "Nevermind. I thought you stronger than that Garxena."
