"Here come sit with me...." Silax motioned to the spot next to him, "when did I help Dexeon...?" he asked.

 

Kairi sat down,"You came with him to get Riku and set neoshadows on us. I'll admit you took them away though. That's what confuses me. Who are you helping? I'd actully like to be able to trust you, but as it is now, I don't know what you will ever do."

 

"But did I actually help capture Riku?" Silax stated, "as I said I am not responsible for brothers actions....and they are not always in the interest of the family either...." he said. "So you don't trust me because you said I have been helping Telren and you guys? he said confused, "when have I helped Telren lately?"

 

Kairi looked at him seriously,"I know you haven't helped him but you seem to always be going back and forth. I'm sorry if I've misunderstood your, motives or whatever it is. I just want to know if you are on our side. Are you?"

 

"I am on the side of darkness...." Silax said plainly, "I was created from darkness.....that is where my fate lies....." he said pulling Kairi close, "but you probably wouldn't understand....you know since your light....."

 

Kairi pulled away from him,"Okay, fair enough, you are on the side of darkness. And yes I am of light, what's wrong with that?"

 

"What was that?" Silax said noticing she had pulled away from him, "we see things differently.....you believe in hope, kindness, and helping....where as darkness is alone, suffering, and despair....."

 

"I don't want you pulling me close to you like that, okay?" Kairi said calmly."Yes we do see differently. And that's fine."

 

Silax stood up, "well then....I'll be going...." he said opening up a portal, "considering I'm not wanted here anyway...." he said looking at Kairi.

 

Kairi shrugged,"I didn't say that. I said I didn't want you to pull me close to you like that. Now I understand you a little better though." she thought for a moment,"I wouldn't mind if you staid, but your choice. I'm just waiting for someone to help me get Riku back from Dexeon. I'm not dumb enough to try and go alone."

 

"Riku can be destroyed for all I care....." Silax said conjuring some neoshadows, "and if you don't mind I would like to know where Garxena is......" he said blankly.

 

Kairi stood up and looked at him confused,"How should I know where she is?"

Garxena looked around. "This place is so creepy. Now I wish Silax had stayed with me...." She walked slowly. "Kyo? Kyo, where are you?"

Kai had her hand on the hilt of her Doublesword. "What do you want my sister for?" She asked Silax. I still don't think I should trust this guy.

 

Silax portaled away and portaled behind Kai, "I gave her a present yesterday....and I think its time it was opened....." he grinned portaling away. This time he portaled next to Garxena, "there you are...."

 

Kai stood there, confused. "What's he talking about?" She asked Kairi.

Garxena was slightly relieved to have someone with her. "Why'd you come back? I'm still kinda preoccupied." She went back to looking for Kyo. "Kyo?!" She hoped he would call back. I don't know what else to do.

 

Silax pulled her close to him, "worrying about Kyo?" he said blankly, "what about yourself....have you warned your friends yet?" he asked. He leaned close to her, "hmm I remember when we were this close....and we told each other we loved each other....." he grinned.

 

"I want to tell them, but I'm afraid that if I leave here I won't come back." Garxena didn't bother to struggle. "You said it yourself: I'm happy with Riku and you're happy with Jordxy. Now, if you're not going to help me, you don't need to be here do you? I'd like to get back to finding my friend."

Garxena, what have you gotten yourself into? Kai sat back down. What's happened to our family?

 

Silax got really close to her lips, "you admitted to me you liked the power that came from darkness....." he grinned, "tell me would you like to have that power...."

 

Garxena turned her head. "My bonds to my friends are telling me no, that it would be betraying them. Especially Riku.... But me, I kinda do want that power again. I didn't feel weak when I had it...." she whispered. "I don't know...."

Whatever he wants, Garxena, don't give in. I know you've become stronger. You're smarter too. If only I knew where you were! I'd be right next to you. Kai went up to Garxena's room and sat on her bed.

 

Silax gently brought her lips close to his again, "whats the matter Garxena....do you feel uncomfortable...." he grinned, "is it because I'm dark....I'm curious to know why you just dropped your so called love for me...."
