"I'll figure out how to do this..." Garxena stared at the screen, unsure what to do. Kyo, I don't know what to do!

"Well that was anticlimactic." Kai sheathed her Doublesword. "Why the change of mind?" She asked Silax.

Riku pounded his Keyblade against the fire barrier. "It's like this thing is brick wall!" He tried hitting it again.

 

Dexeon pulled up a chair and sat down. "You could do that for the rest of time and my barrier wouldn't budge." Dexeon smirked. "I'll just stay here and make sure you don't get out."

 

If he thinks I'll give up that easily, he's dead wrong! Riku sent a Dark Aura right into the middle of the flames. Nothing happened. "Jeez!" He slammed his Keyblade against the flames. "Come on!"

 

Dexeon laughed. "That's quite entertaining. Keep it up, Riku."

 

Garxena sighed hopelessly. "I can't do this....." She began humming to try to calm herself and slowly, words came to her lips.

Dexeon looked up. Hmph. My sister is singing. What is she up to?

 

Silax portaled into Ansems study, "and what might you be doing with a piece of equipment like that...." he asked refering to Ansems computer, "do you even know how to work such a device...."

 

Garxena started and blushed when she saw it was Silax. Did he hear me singing? "I'll figure it out. Eventually......." She folded her arms over her chest, not showing her embarrassment.

Riku let his Keyblade disappear. He's right....... it's no use..... is this really normal fire? Riku reached out his hand, and when he touched the fire, it didn't burn. He recoiled immediately. It's not. What is this?

 

Dexeon smirked. "Took you long enough. That's not ordinary fire. It's mixed with my own Dark energy. You can keep trying to break out, but it won't do anything except entertain me."

 

"You know your rather confusing...." Silax stated walking over to the computer, "you said at one time you loved Xeal....then you loved Kyo......then you loved me.....then Riku.....and now Kyo again....." he said shaking his head typing in some information, "rather confusing...."

 

Garxena tightened her arms and shook her head. "I've cared for Kyo like I do all my friends. But that's all he is: a friend.... and Xeal, I thought I loved him, but he turned on me. The whole time he was all jealously and rage. I don't know what I saw in him. But Riku, Riku is there for me. He came back even when I told him to stay with Sora on Destiny Islands. He hasn't let me down, and I know he won't." Garxena eyed Silax. "What are you doing?"

I've got to get out of here! Garxena could be in trouble. I don't know where she went. And why did she have her Oblivionblade with her? Riku scanned his small area of encasement. There HAS to be a way out of here!

 

Dexeon watched Riku carefully. Try anything you'd like, Riku. You can't get out of there unless I put down the barrier.

 

"Just entering some information...." Silax grinned before a door opened up to their right, "there we go....you can continue now...." he said walking through the door and down the walkway.

 

Garxena sighed and rolled her eyes before following him. "Why are you coming? What does Kyo have to do with you?" Is this the Gate of Twilight? She looked around. It's really creepy.... She shivered.

 

"Nothing at all..." Silax said continuing on, he noticed she was a little spooked, "your telling me being born out of darkness....has done nothing for your fear of darkness..." he grinned, "are you sure you want to follow me...."

 

"There's no way I'm turning back." Garxena put her hands on her hips and tried to sound brave. "You can't tell me the overwhelming power of the Darkness doesn't scare you sometimes?"

Kai slumped on a chair. "Where did Dexeon take Riku? Where is Garxena?" She muttered.

 

"I am a child of darkness....." Silax said blankly, "my fate belongs in darkness....no point trying to change it....." he said glancing behind him, "but some beings of darkness need a little more to realize their fates......"

 

"And who would that be?" Garxena asked, a little coldly. I swear I'll hit him if he's referring to anyone I know.

Riku sat down, crossed his legs, and closed his eyes. I just have to think. What the heck does Dexeon want me for? It has to be something important if he's going through the trouble of keeping me here. Is there a weakness to this fire barrier? Not that I've found yet. Do I need help?................ Yes.

 

Silax grinned at her tone, "let me give you a few examples of the fools I'm talking about...." he said, "Yeifou....Kyo.....Riku......and everyone else in this so called Organization....."

 

Garxena clenched her fists. I won't hit him this time. But next fight, I get dibs on him. She walked a little faster, venting her anger in her pace. "Riku will never fall back into Darkness. And there's no way you could get your filthy hands on him."

This is weird. Just sitting here. I'm so used to doing something all the time. Kai tapped her foot. There's got to be something to do.

The more I resist, the weaker I'll get. And when I do get out of here, I'll need all of my strength. Riku stayed sitting.
