The Secret Hour

For the people of Bixby there is a secret hour that only exists for a few select people who were born at midnight can experiance. And during this hour the rest of world is frozen in time allowing the nithinglings to come out. Which are a dark group of beings that roam the secret hour. Although they ususally live towards the outskirts of town they sometimes attack with no warning. Although the nithlings are powerfull the people who can enter the secret hour have special powers that come out in the secret hour that allow them to protect themselves.

Sooo...first off it's based off the book "The Midnighters"
And for the story it's pretty much everyone going through their lifes (School, ect.) and then at midnight the secret comes and they can use all their powers, and hang out ect. I'll try to come up with more of a story as it progresses...oh and a few more important things. Things that really hurt the nithlings are iron, metal, and also 13 letter words...(they hate all things that come in 13's)

Alice walked out of her house and began to walk down the street.

 

Victor grabbed his school bag and with his usual calm face he slammed doors of his house, so everybody know he was leaving his house. He walked down the street and with simple wave greeted Alice

 

Alice smiled at Victor and continued her on her way to school.

 

Victor bought something to eat and went into school. He threw his stuff into locker and walked to class, waving to people who knew him. He was most silent student, so most guys were making fun of him. But he was also best student

 

Alice entered the school and got her things for her first period class from her locker and proceeded into the direction of her class. Sometimes stopping and talking to her friends, she eventually made it to her class room and took a seat in the back of the class room next to a window and prepared for what the teacher may have in store for them that day.

 

Victor was sitting at other side of class than Alice, looking somewhere and he stopped his look on Alice and saluted to her, which was only sign of friendship they had

 

Alice looked over at Victor as he saluted her, she smiled back then pulled out a book from her bag and began reading before the class started. Several minutes later the teacher walked in and Alice put the book away and turned her direction to the teacher.

 

Victor was paying half attention to teacher and rest on looking on girls. He got bored after while, but lesson ended sooner than he could think of something what to do °°When will midnight come?°°he thought

 

Alice gathered her things and stood up she gracefully walked to the door then entered the bustleing hallways, she quickly made it to her locker and put her things from the previous class away and got her things for the next one, she talked to several of her friends, then made it to her next class, taking a seat in the back of this class as well.

 

´´How long will it take until midnight?´´Victor asked Alice after he moved to another class ´´It is boring here´´

 

"Well, there are about fourteen more hours until midnight. Just try to make this place fun." Alice said quietly as she rustled through her bag, looking for her book then held it up, "I normally pass the time by reading." She said.

 

´´Reading is for nerds, no offence. Why can´t be day little more fun than sitting in school. Do we really need to go to school?´´Victor asked her, not paying attention to anything else

 

Alice looked down, "Yes, we do need to go to school, but I don't see the harm of skipping a day or two every now and then." Alice said. "What else is there that you want to do, anyway?" She asked, while flipping the pages of her book.
