The Sanctuary

Drake had been relaxing on the boxes in the alleyway but to his surprise a motorcycle zoomed past him. It seemed like a girl and a guy was on it trying to escape some thing. "well that was the most exciting thing that happened ever since I got here. that guy kind of looked familiar to me" Drake said jumping up to his feet

 

"Heh, alright," she said.
After he came back from the counter, she said, "Thanks..."
A few seconds passed, and Rei asked, "So what have you been doing since you escaped?"

 

Leon lent back on his seat, "I was just passing by places, looking for somewhere to stay for a while longer than everywhere else", he answered, "What about you?", he asked back while looking over at the kitchen door and back at Rei.

 

skidding to a halt, Larenzo looked behind him at a bum sitting upon a couple of crates.

"Hey, I know that smuck!"

Spinning around, he parked himself next to the guy, waiting for the time stop to wear off.

 

Rea smiled. "Don't worry abou-" She noticed Drake. "Smuck?" She giggled at the word. "Who is this guy?"

 

Rei shrugged. "Like I said, I just went north. I figured that if they sent people out to try and take us back, they wouldn't survive up there. I learned to fight and survive on my own...moved around a lot, following whoever I was hired to follow, slept in snow dug outs, that kind of stuff. Hence the fur I'm wearing, which is becoming increasingly uncomfortable in this weather."
She looked back at Leon. "Do you plan on staying here long?"

 

Larenzo hooked his fingers into the bum's mouth, contorting his features, smirking as he did.

"He's, oh what's his name... Drake. A lackey of mine."

 

Drake looked at the people returning towards him. "I wonder if they are coming back to fight" Drake muttered. A dark smile formed "oh dear if they want to fight then I guess I can spill some blood today" Drake said but one the motorcycle got close he got a bit surprised when he saw the driver and smiled again and went and sat on the boxes "yo its been a while hasn't it" Drake said calmly with a cool attitude but was surprised when Larenzo pushed the finger in his mouth "same old Larenzo" Drake tried to say with the finger in his mouth

 

"Probably, I don't have anywhere else to go and this place is full of people like us unlike everywhere else", Leon said as he noticed a waiter coming with their food.

 

"Same...it's different than what I'm used to, but I think I can learn to live with it," Rei said.
She saw the waiter coming as well. "It's been a while since I actually sat down and had a real meal...I owe you for this, Leon."

 

The waiter served them their food and drinks and left back into the kitchen, "It's alright, It's been a while since I've eaten anyway", Leon said as he began to eat his meal using the knife and fork in the opposite hands.

 

Rea walked up to Drake. "Hello. My name is Rea." She bowed. "I am an accquiantence of Larenzo." She stood up straight.

 

Drake pulled his mout away to get Laranzo's finger out of his mouth and looked at her "so are you like his girlfriend or something?" Drake said crossing his arms

 

"More like an act of goodwill" Larenzo corrected. Besides, she could be of some use to us Drake. How are the others faring?"

 

Drake crossed his arms "they are all alright I guess. We all split after we arrived to this town and I bet that some of those idiots are having a hard time getting a job" Drake said

 

"Hm, I see. The same go for you Drake? You don't seem like a salary man."

 

OOC: Holy ****. Now I feel bad for going out.

BIC: Eva blinked. She couldn't tell if she hit him or not. Trying to move forward, she felt like she was moving through syrup, like the air had gone all sticky. After it stopped, she bounded out the door, snarling. She could smell him still. Him and that girl. She was an enemy too, obviously. So he had found a pet. She would rob him of his friend too. Grinning viciously, she bounded off after him, ready to strike.

 

"meh I had my fair share of jobs but I just prefer to just sit back and relax then work" Drake said as he sat on the boxes and smiled "so how about you. Im interested to know what you have been up to" Drake said

 

"Not been living in the lime light. Oh, almost forgot. I found some old friends and now we can begin what we started."

 

"old friends?" Drake said confused at the moment and then jumped up to his feet and smiled "are you speaking about your dear old daddy and friends?" Drake said
