The Orphanage

Eva whimpered, falling to her knees as the she heard the screaming, feeling likt someone was sticking ice picks in her ear drums. She covered her ears, hoping it would end, but fearing when it did. Shaking, she picked herself off the ground. Larz, the one she had known, was gone. She had better pray he wouldn't find her. Picking up speed again, she formed to a panther.

 

"Whoa." Elevir whispered, like a small child, at the sight in front of her.
"How did you do that?" the girl asked Larenzo. He didn't even seem to do anything, the guard just screamed and dropped dead.

 

Turning around Larenzo looked at the girl, his head tilted to the side. The weight from his grotesque smile must be too much for his neck to handle.

"Why it is very simply insert-your-name-here. If you'd like, I'd give you a step by step break down of the move."

He took three steps towards Elevir, quickly, hungrily.

"Of course, I'm giving you one if you don't want to see it anyway."

 

Eva stopped, her heart pounding. Oh no, oh no oh no oh no. She turned and ran back, her cat paws making no noise whatsoever. Please don't, no no. She skidded around a corner, panting, her white teeth gleaming in the near darkness.

"Don't you remember what happened last time you tried that?" Elevir spoke, backing away, and almost into the Director.

Without her usual weapon, Elevir felt utterly defenseless against the fast approaching manic... though it wouldn't stay that way for long. In a split-second move that even she hardly foresaw, she reached behind and grabbed the hot metal of the Director's handgun out of his dangerously loose grasp. The fingers of her dominant hand wrapped around the handle in a deathly grasp as she pointed the other end toward the murderous insanity that Larz had become.

 

Eva jumped, panther form, to land on top of Larz, panting lightly, her pointed canines showing slightly through her raised lips. She wasn't sure what was going on, but she wanted to help the girl. Maybe she was just a confused person, trying to find her way, like the rest of them. Her heart pounding, her eyes filled with emotion, she stared at the person who had been her friend. Her lips pulled back in a cat grimace, and she made a deep growling like sound.

 

Not being able to take the weight, the madman's face became very intimate with the floot. Flailing about, the Larenzo tried despratly to get up.

 

Panthers were big cats, and it wasn't easy to dislogde them. Eva snarled, her teeth inches from his face. She wondered if she could so this. Take a friend's life. He wasn't her friend anymore, she remmebered. He wasn't. She growled again.

*Bio: She was an outcast where ever she went even her family didn't like her, she did have one friend but he had to leave her because his parents didn't want her around.

I haven't been on because I couldn't decide on anything for Elevir to do at that point. I was waiting for someone else to post.

BIC:// Elevir's hands dropped back to her sides, the trigger still firmly held against her finger. Barely touching the floor, she took the chance to race over and collect her formerly neglected weapon, the loyal knife she'd threatened the Director and stabbed Larz with earlier.

As she regained her posture and finally took in the scene around her; the insane amount of voices and pictures, the fear and anger of the people around her almost overwhelmed her.

An idea struck her. If she could make the right moves, and use the magnified feelings of the people around her to her own advantage, she could get everyone out of this situation... hopefully.

'Eva...' she spoke telepathically to the girl, only hoping she could understand. 'Are you willing... to help me?'

Her eyes, now a strange shade of violet, flashed between the girl she had spoken to, the Director, and the manic being pinned to the ground. Her fingers twitched with the anxiety that accompanied their situation; her reflexes were on overdrive just anticipating someone making a move(or thinking of such), ready to lift her blade or the gun.

 

Ooc: Okay...Someone help me figure this out please. What is going on? xD I thought this died, didn't pay any attention to it...Eh. Halp, please. I'd appreciate a VM/PM with a recap. x:​
