The Orphanage

Elevir froze as well, feeling the fingers through her hair. Her hand raced to her pocket on instinct; she had forgotten that her knife still lay across he room, far out of anyone's reach.

"Wh... Who are you?" she asked, looking over her shoulder anxiously without turning around to face the voice's owner. The strength in her voice was unable to mask the shaky fear underneath.

 

"What, you don't know who I am?"

The voiced seemed mocking, feinting hurt feelings.

"If you can't tell who I am, maybe you should turn around."

 

Ren continued to watch ready do do something if he must

Seth also continued to watch as the guard that held him by the hair did the same thing

 

"You're not Larz," she spoke, turning to face him. "you can't be."

Much to her horror, he was Larz; at least, he appeared to be. But he really couldn't. Larz was gone. She killed him. So who was this man standing in front of her?

 

The man stared down at the girl. It looked like larz, but it didn't talk like Larz. He seemed to drip with malevolence. The triangle in his eye split and morphed into a starburst.

"Larz?" The being asked questioningly.

"I'm not that chump! You killed him, remember? I simply layed claim to his body...well, my body now. You see, I was the original owner, the true son of that man you work with. I am Larenzo Kendrith, the mad king."

 

"So does that mean it was you... who killed all of those people?" Elevir responded, remembering the situation she'd been forced into earlier and letting a stay glance to the wound still present in Larenzo's side. She wondered if it still hurt him, even if it was a different person in the manic's body.

 

The man clapped his hands together and took an exaggerated bow. His smiles was twisted and vile.

"Guilty as charged. Guill-ty as chaaarged!"

 

Eva shivered, her head pounding as she watched in horror. She didn't like this, she didn't want this. Shaking her head, she willed herself not to cry, then slowly wrapped herself around the guard, her snaky self clenching tight. She waited till he fell to the ground, then shifted back, exhausted.

 

A small, childish smile flashed across the young girl's face at Larenzo's actions, disappearing as quickly as it came, hopefully before anyone noticed. However, it wasn't like her actions mattered anymore. She was probably just a killer in everyone else's eyes anyway... just like the man standing in front of her. They already had something in common; how nice.

 

Straightening up, the man clapped his hand and interlocked his fingers.

"Well then..." he started, looking around.

"Who wants to die next?"

 

Ren looked at Elevir and to his surprised he noticed the smile but remained calm and quiet despite the situation they were in

 

Eva flinched, then inched away. Her sister was gone, most likely having escaped before she did. She slowly crawled for the door, hoping no one would notice since the new Larz was in that....body.

 

Famous stood next to his twin, his arm straight ahead of him, and his finger pointed at the Director.
"He does. He does, you can see it on his face!" He spoke, electricity cackling around him, as Legend stared in horror.

Elevir had been looking out into the sparse crowd of people inching away from the 'mad king' when the younger child had made his statement. She turned to face the Director once again, waiting for his reaction. However, that was when she realized she was more interested in what Larenzo would do next...

Personality: Haru is very quiet when he is around people that he dosen't know but when he gets to know you, He starts to act loud and tough even though he is scared of most things.

Scratching his chin, the mad king pursed his lips.

"hmm, always wanted to crush daddy like I crushed mommy. Maybe we should give that a go."

Cold and flushed, The director couldn't take it anymore. Faster than lightning, he aimed his gun and prepared to fire. He could barely see through his tears. His hand shook wildly almost making the gun clatter to the groud.

"You b astard! You bastar son of mine! How dare you speak of her so casually. "You aren't allowed to even think of her with you disgusting mind!

 

Eva shivered, then headed for the door, closing it behind her quietly, or so she hoped. She let a few tears fall, then dashed them away and ran down the hallway, looking for Aly. Hopefully she hadn't gotten into too much trouble. She still wanted to escape with her.

 

The guard holding Seth started backing away. He let go of Seth and immediatley took out a gun and fired but missed horribly. The guard stood with the gun in his hand shaking in fear as if he saw death itself

 

the Kendrith family reunion was cut short by the echo left by the burn smoke and the rocketing shard of metal.

Larenzo turned to the guard, eyebrow raised, a perturbed smile playing at his lips*

"Well well, lookie here, it appears a certains someone wanted to play hero. Maybe you should have read the manual my friend."

 

The guard looked at Larenzo in fear and shot at him once again yelling in fear but once again his aim was horrible

Seth looked at the guard as he shot the gun that guard is extreamly scared. He is so scared he can't even run. If he keeps this up he will die Seth thought to himself

 

Slowly, Larenzo traced the guards neck, savoring the absolute terror that he was soaked in. In a flash, the mad king spread his arms wide and grabbed the kid's head like a cymbal.

Now, now the real fun would begin.

With a savage click and a grinding whirl, the starburst on larenzo's eye spun. Faster and faster, like a drill bit ready to boar through the guards soul.

Screams, countless, ungodly screams resonated from the victim's, molded with the trapped beast's primal instict. The boy's eyes changed from white to crimson red. The boy guards eyes were boiling, bleeding internally from the monsterous ordeal going on in his mind.

Suddenly, the screaming stopped. The fun was over. Like a wrapper not worth putting in the trash, Larenzo dropped the corpse. He was satisfied just as if he had had a full meal.
