The Orphanage

The guard held Seth by his hair still. "well lets see one of you monsters kill another monster" The guard said as he had Seth watch. Seth wanted to fight back but he used all his energy with controling the guards

Ren watched showing no emotion what so ever

 

The sound of footsteps sounded even louder as he ran down the long dark hallway. A opening appeared at the end, he dashed towads. Maybe he could escape, he jus wanted to get away. The opening came closer, then stopped. His view was turned upside down, and hit chest hit the ground, he had fallen. "No..." He whispered to himself.

 

As the girl stepped forward, the guards surrounding Larz stepped aside and pulled a struggling Eva out of the way, by her neck, like her sister.

"Larz..." she whispered, now standing next to the man. She didn't know what to say to him... she couldn't say she was sorry anymore. It wouldn't mean anything; not to Larz, not to the Director, and especially not to the other Orphans watching in horror. No matter how sorry she was, it wasn't worth an apology.

She looked back to the Director before she continued, almost as though to make sure he approved of what she was doing. That was the least of her worries, though, as she looked back to her suffering victim, and lowered herself to grasp a hold on his neck. Her hands were trembling, so she noticed, as she attempted to tighten her grip.

 

Eva writhed in the guard's grasp, desperate to get free. Sure, Larz had hurt her, but it wasn't his fault. He was like a child, he was a child, they all were. Why did this have to happen to them? What made them so damned different? She stared at the other girl, not noticing her sister watching her in concern.

Eva....Aly stepped on her guard's foot, making him smack her, but he also stepped back. Her sister was about to snap, and when that happened, she did not want to be in the way. She remembered the time before.

 

His eyes quivered and shook in his sockets. What was going on? This didn't feel right. She was like the others who made bad sound. Larz was scared by this change in events. Why was she doing this? She was with the bad sound, the ones that put him in the dark.

"Why?" he asked when his shaking lips finally parted.

Before she could answer, Larz hung his head. His chin lightly touching his executioner's fingers.
It looked like even the ones who made good sound, thought he was bad.

 

When she felt the Manic's chin against her fingers, her grip loosened, and she questioned her motives again. But if she didn't kill him, he would just rot in a straitjacket for all of eternity... he'd suffer a fate worse than what she was doing to him.

"I don't think you're bad, Larz," she said quietly, so only he could hear her.

Her grasp tightened around his neck again, and she struggled to keep it that way. Every fiber of her body told her not to do this, that it was a horrible thing she was doing... but that couldn't be, because her hands were still wrapped around the man's neck, strangling his last breath from him...

 

Eva whimpered, then shifted to snake form, and bit her captor, slithering over to the girl. She climbed up the girl's neck, aiming to wrap herself around, see how she liked it. Her eyes, yellow now, narrowed, and she hissed, revealing fangs.

 

"I see" Larz murmered.

"Then....then that makes you bad."

His vision began to get blurry as his eyes began to get wet. She betrayed him. She was part of the bad sound. Heat burned inside his skin and anger and sadness poured into salt water and stained the hands of the girl of bad sound. Good things...there were no good things in this world. Larz understood that now. Maybe...maybe it was time to listen to the scary voice and let him do what he had offered all those years to go.

 

A guard grabbed Eva away from Elevir by her head and tail.

"Yeah, Larz..." she whispered, tears burning her eyes, "you're right. It does make me... bad."

She wasn't going about this correctly if she could still feel the man's forced breaths underneath her fingers, so she realized. Her fingers, once again, closed around the manic's throat, and he struggled to breathe, once again.
Her whole body was trembling now, rejecting what she was doing to the point where she could almost feel herself going insane, even without the Manic's help.
However, she could still feel the pained breaths of Larz between her fingers. She still couldn't kill the other Gift. Was she truly not strong enough? After going this far, could she really fail that easily?
No, it couldn't be.... She'd die if she wasn't able to do this... they all would. Her hands constricted the man's airway just a little more, just enough so that, regardless of whether he could breath or not, he'd run out of air eventually.

As she did this, she couldn't help but think to herself...
What a horrible way... to make me kill someone....

 

Eva hissed but saw stars when the guard hit her. She hung from his grasp limply, slowly shifting back to human. She kept thinking weird things, that didn't make sense. Everytime she did, she shook her head, trying to remember the important thing. What was she doing here?

 

"Well then..." Larz choked out. His body tensed up, trying to get as small as he could so the harshness of the events might just pass him by. That way he wouldn't have to say what he was going to while the air was sapped from his lungs.

"Maybe I should let...him...let him wipe the bad from here."

 

Him? Elevir thought. The scary voice? If only the Manic's thoughts weren't so hard to decipher. This couldn't just be a manic's hallucination... could it?

 

He couldn't stay composed anylonger. The little air he had was gone. Unable to think, his heartbeat quickened, his head arched back and tried fruitlessly to suck in something breathable. In fits and spasms he squirmed, trying despretaly to hold on the the life he had. But sadly, it appeared he didn't have a strong enough grip. Eyes rolling into the back of his head, he layed limp. His heart slowed it's beating, so no soul would be able to hear it.

 

Eva squirmed, then yelped, her arm stinging. She couldn't bear to watch, but she felt cold...it was odd. She had never felt this cold before, only the heat, once she was angry. This was like standing under a waterfall. She felt like she had been standing under a waterfall, getting pounded for hours.

Aly watched her sister, feeling more and more uneasy at the golden glow in her eyes. She wondered vaguely how much Eva had left, then stopped. Time to have some fun. Gently, ignoring the struggle between the maniac and the other girl, she gently eased pictures into the guard's mind, smiling inside as he started twitching and blinking, trying to rid of them.

 

The guard continued to hold Seth by his hair laughing his head off at the sight of how helpless Seth was

Seth just watched clenching his fist "it would be best for her to do that but I wish it never had to come to this" Seth muttered quietly to himself

Ren leaned against a wall and crossed his arms and watched. He kept his eyes on Elevir

 

As Rek watched the scene around him, he felt his power building up. Fire was an unpredictable power, it builds up with anger, anxiety, adrenaline, even when you're hyper or sometimes when your happy. This power build up was from hate. Hate for this facility. Rek, being as quiet as he was, wasn't being held by any guards. So he quietly stood up and let his power flow into his hands before launching one fireball at the Director, and the other one near Elevir's feet. He hoped to kill the director and scare Elevir into loosening her grip or even moving away from Larz before it was too late.

 

OOC:// SURPRISE -shot-

When the heat of the fire came in contact with Elevir's bare feet, she didn't even twitch, too focused on the task she'd been given; one that would be finished soon. The manic's life seemed to have left him, but Elevir kept a hold on his throat for a few more sickening moments, just to be sure.

She stood once again, letting Larz's neck out of her grasp and his head hit the cold, hard floor. Her eyes were a silver void as she turned back to face the Director, her head leaning slightly to one side.

"What... now?" she asked, her voice almost a whisper to avoid the shaky tone the words would have taken if she had spoken them aloud.

 

Rolling away from the flames, clothes singed, the director let fly two shots at the pyro's arm.

"Enough child! Let me work and I might set you free!"

Taking a few steps towards the girl, he placed his hand softly on her shoulder. Covering his face with his bangs to hide his emotions he spoke to her.

"Thank...thank you, for what you've done. Are you sure he's dead?"

 

She paused for a few seconds, then nodded briefly.
"Yes... I'm sure." she spoke.

 

Behind Elevir, a husky breath cackled, a hand passes through her hair.

"You sure have Ele. My my, I thought I wasn't ever gonna get rid of that kid. I have you to thank for that. Who knows, maybe I'll keep your blood in your body."

The director froze. His features fading to pale.
"No, oh god know. This cant be!"
