The Orphanage

"We have already been over this sam. You need the experience. Just say fire and it will be over. There won't be any guilt or blame."

 

Sam noticed the guards glancing back at him, waiting for his command. He was shaking but he hoped no one would notice. There would be guilt. There would be blame. He didn't want to kill. He looked over that the director nervously.


"B-but s-sir..."

 

Kendrith raised his finger to halt sam's protests.

"Think of the money sam. Think of the children."

 

Eva watched the younger man, hugging her sister. He was the one who would say they would die.

Aly nodded, keeping her eyes closed. She wove an image of herself, of her sister, the younger people into his mind, bleeding, dying.

 

As Sam opened his mouth to speak the word reluctantly, Aly's images appeared in his mind. He froze, watching it all unfold with wide eyes. The shaking severed and he dropped his hands to his side.

"I...I can't!" He finally cried out, ignoring the glare Christina shot at him.

 

Eva crouched down, ready to help him. He deserved it after all.....

Aly stopped, leaning against the wall. She panted, sweat breaking out on her forehead. "So much....."

 

Larz looked up from his wall of fire to stare at the guards. They were holding such shiny things. He wanted one.

Dropping his old trinket, the manic attempted to pilfer a prize from one of the soliders.

"Gimme."

 

Kaylee looked up, worry crossing her face as she saw Larz reach out. She quickly ran to his aid, taking his hand and pulling him back towards her.

"Larz, no!" She shook her head. "S-stay here."

 

The to-be-robbed Guard took no liking to the thief and cracked the man across his temple with the butt of his rifle.

 

Eva looked back. "Kaylee..can you watch my sister for a bit?" she asked, supporting Aly.

 

Kaylee winced for Larz, tilting her face up to the guard with a scowl.

"Leave him be! He doesn't know any better!" She snapped before looking over Larz again. "Ar..Are you okay?" She wondered out loud before moving back. "I can..." She looked over at Aly.

 

Larz's left eye snapped open. His expression was that of a stubborn child only more savage. His triangle began to spin like a sawblade.

"Bad feel, must stop bad feel."

The guard began to back away.

 

Eva smiled slightly. "I know its bad timing......I just need to know she's taken care of." She gently helped Aly over to Kaylee, smiling. "You'll be okay." she said.

 

Sam had dropped to the floor on his knees, holding his head and yelling for it to stop.

Kaylee held Aly's hand, but glanced at Larz. She was worried, and the fear in her voice was evident. "Larz...?" She questioned softly.

Christina stepped back. "Oh...Shit."

 

Kendrith raised his eyebrow and the name. It was so familiar.

"Larz?"

 

Eva went over to Sam, hesitantly. "It's alright." she murmured, her eyes wide.

Aly couldn't do it anymore. She closed her eyes, leaning against the wall. The madness was coming....

 

Seth stood with Kaylee looking at Larz "d-damn" Seth said

Ren walked up to Seth and the others and stood next to them "stay on guard" Ren said to everybody

 

The assailant of the manic fell to the ground in a heap along with two standing next to him. Their eyes seemed dead, frozen in their position before their deaths, death by fear. Children in their cells could be heard screaming and wailing.

The boyish man of 21 stood up and and looked around, but could not see. His rage had blinded him.

 

Eva fell to the ground. "Larz no!" she screamed, shifting too fast. Her bones creaked, almost to the point of snapping.

 

Kendrith, ignoring the agony he was going though, ran to larz and snatched him in a loving embrace

"Larz!"

the trangle stopped movin in its lavader home. The rage dissappeared and the madness was supressed.

"Fa..Father?"
