The Orphanage

Eva growled, almost laughing, then padded out to them.

 

After wolfe had stepped through, the prisoner followed aswell. how he could even see as a mystery, but that was over shadowed by the fact that it was trying to talk. The feeding tube was obstructing communication.

 

"It's a bear!" Kaylee cried out, hiding behind Wolfe. "D-do bears eat people?" She asked cluelessly, her eyes wide with worry and her heart beating quickly again. She felt no immediant threat from the animal, but she was paranoid. She heard a sort of hissing sound from behind her and yelped again, moving to hide beside Wolfe. "It's that guy!" She was obviously very jumpy.

 

Eva growled, more threateningly this time, and crouched, bearing her teeth. She didn't know this new person.

 

Seth stood where he was as the guard took out a stick and walked straight towards Seth. After a countless beating Seth layed on the ground bleeding alot. The guard walked away laughing

 

The man began to mumble something. That stupid tube was ruining everything.

 

Eva made a curious sound in her throat and padded toward the man, her eyes bright.

 

The man sniffed the air and craned his head down towards Eva. Something smelled adorable. What could it be?

 

Wolfe stepped forward, looking at the black animal before her. "It's an overgrown cat." she spat at it, her dislike in animals showing. she turned, looking at the man with the tube of his throat looking at it. "Well, we can feed him to it, if it's hungry. he seems curious enough." she walked back towards kaylee, placing her hand on her shoulder and smiling her same, reassuring smile. "I won't let it eat you, silly."

 

Eva watched him, sitting and wrapping her tail around her legs.

 

Kaylee nodded and watched the man quietly. The bear didn't seem too afraid of him. Couldn't animals sense things like that? She held her hands behind her back and tilted her head again in the opposite direction.

"He's trying to talk...Should we take the tube out...?" She asked quietly.

 

Wolfe nodded, her hand gripping around the clear tube and pulling it out quite vigerously. A trickle of blood ran down her hand as she dropped it to the floor with a distinct tap. she wiped her hand on the wall and smiled.
"Job done."

 

After the obstruction was cleared the man began to cough.
"Oh thank you. man, that hurt. Where am I exactly?"

 

Eva sniffed the tube, then winced. She slowly shifted back to her human form, wrinkling her nose. "That is gross."

 

Kaylee stepped out from being Wolfe, staring at the mad curiously and wondering where he had come from...and if he was a friend to them. She crossed her arms and waited patiently for the answers to come, not feeling comfortable enough to ask them herself.

 

The man sniffed the air.

"And what is that adorable smelling thing?"

 

Eva wrinkled her nose. "I have no idea."

Wolfe looked at the man strangely, her face altering a fraction to form a confused expression to mask over her beautiful features. "No. You do not ask questions. We ask questions." she answered in a stern, but friendly voice. "What are you?"

 

"What am I? Well I'm me, what else could I be beyond my self?"

the man's mouth twisted into a state of concerned confusion.

 

Kaylee stepped away from the group for a moment, hurrying into her cell and pulling a small water bottle from her pillow case that she had kept. She slid it under her shirt and quietly made her way back to them, handing the man the water. It didn't feel right just interrogating the poor guy. She thought for a moment.

"Are you a friend to us...?" She asked quietly.
