The Night Shift

She groaned in frustration... She still had a few minutes before the sun came up. She ran towards the corridor, and out the door. Wether she liked him or not, no one deserved torture. It felt like something she had gone through in the past, and didn't want it to happen. She ran into the streets, following his scent.

 

Kain lay on his bed, resting on his back. He slowly drifted into a sleep.

 

Abbie was halfway to the scent. She could smell it. She looked at a bright light in front of her start to ascend across the sky. She skidded, then turned around, starting back. She breathed heavily. She wasn't going to make it, she could tell. She ran into a shadowed area, watching the sun light up the streets. She had to stand directly against the wall.
"Kain! Morbius!" she cried out, knowing they might not heard her.

Joseph sat at the stairs of the motel, looking up and down the streets.
"Ah well... better go re-stock," he mumbled, standing up and heading down the street.

 

The wall behind Abbie opened with Morbius standing there, "This way", he said leading her back underground.

 

Abbie first fell back on the ground, where she was leaning agaisnt the wall. She exhaled in relief.
"Oh thank you Morbius..." she said, standing up and following him.

 

Morbius lead Abbie to a vacant room in sanctuary, "This will be your room for your time here", he said opening the door for her.

 

OCC:hey guys can you guys not make it sunny yet cause my char is busy talking to somebody

 

She nodded and walked in, taking a deep breath. She looked back.
"Thank you... Morbius..." she said, smiling and walking to her bed.

 

Lyra hissed, watching him run off. She looked up at Jacob..."You were some good help..." She said sarcastically.

 

Jacob streshed his back and yawned"well it wasnt my fight and do you want to go to the night shift before we get fried by the sun cause i dont tan"he said with a smile

 

Joseph wandered around the streets. The sun was already on this half of the city. It felt good on his skin. It made him feel safe. He chuckled. The thought of vampires being afraid, of just sunlight. He finally stopped at the marketplace.

Abbie sat on the bed, and emptied her pockets. A set of keys were in one, a bag of gold coins in the other. She set the coins on the nightstand and looked at the set of keys.
"The Matron Hotel... Room 250," she said, reading the key number. She saw another key, one that looked to belong to a carrige.
"Hmm," she thought, wondering.

Lyra shook her head..."I won't join without invite.." She answered, before swiftly going for cover from the sun in an abandoned shack.

 

Jacob knocked on the wall making it open then waved at lyra"cya"then he used the secret passage to reach the sanctuary.

 

Lyra simply nodded, before listening for any sign of life within the shack. When she was certain it was empty, she slipped in through the door, closing it behind her and staying away from the windows.

 

Jacob walked through the passige and reached the sanctuary then he went to his bed and sleept
