The Night Shift

Lyra hissed..."Im not done with you! And besides, I'm not blind, I Have perfect vision" She raised an eyebrow at Joseph, slightly relieved he was alone. She would never admit it, but she knew she couldn't fight Paladins if it was a possible three to one.

 

He shook his head and put away his katana.
"You've got a bigger mouth, and you have no intention to fight.. Only to run your God damn mouth," he said, angrily.

 

Jacob jumped down and stoop beside Lyra"well well of course i dont have an intention to fight and dont get mad gesh even though you would have lost against her"he said to joseph

 

Joseph glared back at him.
"I have no intentions... to kill two dumb vampires..." he said, then ran off.
Abbie danced in the streets.
"Kain!" she called out, trying to find him...
Joseph continued running until he saw Abbie again. Her eyes were fogged up, so she couldn't seen. He ran out, sword in hand.
Abbie blinked, seeing Joseph in her sonar. She gasped. She left her weapons at the sanctuary.
"Kain!" she called out again, this time, needing his help. She turned and started running

 

Kain stepped out of the mist, his presence seemed odd like he was much more blood thirsty than usual. "My, my, what have we here? A paladin who escaped me once before. I see this as a worthy trial", he said laughing psychoticly as he blocked the path between Abbie and Joseph.

 

Abbie whimpered, seeing Kain. She thought it was good that he was here.

Joseph cackled, then jumped over Kain.
"I'm not here to fight you!" he called out to Kain, still following behind Abbie.

Abbie whimpered louder and started running again.

 

Kain smirked and then disappeared into the mist reappearing infront of Joseph, "But your here to fight with my subordinate, therefore your here to fight with me also", Kain said, "Besides, I would rather like to see how Marcus' gift works on such a foe", he smirked as his eyes glowed a blood red and his fangs showed.

 

Abbie stood behind Kain, rather closely. She hid behind him, like a child would hide behind their mother if they were scared.

Joseph huffed.
"I am in no mood to fight with such a stronger being... Fighting that loud mouthed vampire woman a minute ago has me worn. If you're looking for a much... Stronger fight, that'll last longer.. .See me here... Tomorrow night... The sun should be rising soon, and that.. must make it a little difficult..." he tried to bargain...

 

"You have a point, I'd rather kick you while your down but with the sun up withing the next ten minutes I wouldn't make it to shelter in time", Kain explained grinning, "Tomorrow it will be", he agreed.

 

He nodded.
"Make it Midnight... The point at which the moon is the highest in the sky," he said, then glanced at Abbie. He pulled out a snicker, with a wink, then turned around, walking away, his trench coat lingering away...

Abbie shook slightly. She still hid behind Kain, like a child would.

 

Kain turned to Abbie and walked with her towards sanctuary, "We will have to rest for the day, I won't take you with me when I fight the paladin", Kain said still smirking.

 

She gasped slightly.
"You mean.. you're going without me?" she asked, walking next to him. Something triggered a childish stage, and she was acting rather kiddish.

 

"You would only be in my way and you would also distract my opponent", Kain said as they reached the door to sanctuary, "It would be better if you where assigned to a role from Morbius tomorrow night", he said before walking in

 

Jacob looked at Lyra"i found the night shift and remember we made deal plus its better if a friend is with me"he said to her smiling wanting her to fallow him to the sanctuary

 

She shook her head.
"No. i can't allow this.. Joseph is only trying to attack me because of something that i can't remember... He told me earlier, but now i forgot..." she said.

Joseph headed to the motel he was first at.

 

"Then I won't kill him, I'll tortute information out of him", Kain explained knowing that they may unlock parts of her past this way.

 

She stared at him, her eyes glossy, and scared.
"No.. please don't.. I can't handle that..." she said, her voice in an almost whisper voice.

 

"You should know how brutal my methods are by now", Kain said as they continued down the corridoor to the main room.

 

She felt tears stream down her cheeks. She stood in front of him.
"No!" she demanded.
"You can't do that... Wether you like it or not, he is a living breathing thing, just like you... Imagine if that was you.." she said, wiping a few loose tears.

 

"I don't have to imagine it... besides since when was I a living breathing thing?", Kain said opening the door to his room, "Good day", he said closing it behind him as he entered.
