The Night Shift

Jacob smiled"well im naturally good at getting information and persuaing people for my own benefit without ussing charm so the skill makes it a lot better i never killed anybody they killed themselves but i try to avoid conflict"he said to him

 

Abbie looked around, sighing and laying against the chair. She looked at Morbius.
"Can you teach me.... Fury? I forgot how..." she said.

 

Morbius nodded at Jacob then turned his head to Abbie, "Focus your rage and thats it", Morbius said, "It's quite simple once you get your memory working", he said understanding her amnesia.

 

Her eyes gleamed.
"I don't get angry though... It's actually hard for me to any rage..." she frowned. She understood the flames she saw earlier now... The fury was so low because it was hard for her to get angry.

 

"Rage isn't a matter of anger, it's a matter of what your fury is driven by", Morbius explained, "My fury is driven by the knowledge I posess", he said holding out his hand and showing his fury energy float on his skin.

 

She tilted her head to the side and stared at him.
"How would i take something and make it fury?" she asked.

 

"You have no memory, use that as your medium then when your memories return you'll be much stronger than your once where", Morbius stated putting his arm back down on the armrest it sat on.

 

Jacob leaned against the wall watching Abbie train while Morbius taught her"whats so good about fighting when you can get other things done instead"he said to himself

 

"Fighting is all you can do sometimes, it's important to be prepared for all options", Morbius explained.

Kain stalked the streets ripping apart any knight he could, little did he know that he had accidentally unlocked the secret of the dark gifts they share. But he would need to do one more thing for it to be fully unleashed.

 

Jacob listened to Morbius"true but like i said im not a fighter and i hate to get my hands dirty" he said while he was leaning against the wall

 

"Indeed, thats why you depend on manipulating others for combat", Morbius stated guessing his circumstance.

 

She sighed and looked at her hand. She couldn't think of anything to do, but her memories had still been locked up in the back of her mind. She had small memory. She held her hand out in front of her and lifted up Morbius' chair slightly, seeing if she had another method. A red glow began around her hands.

 

Jacob smiled at his guess and clapped"yep thats right manipulation a grand tactic to use to gather information and to get what i need" he said

 

"Well then it seems we have some sequence around here. Basically we have espionage, longe range tactics of two varieties and then a berserker", Morbius plotted outloud folding his arms.

 

She lowered the chair, keeping it steady. The glow around her hands made a small flame around her hands. She couldn't feel the heat at all but she screamed out, afraid. She couldn't remember seeing the flames on her skin. She threw her arm around then fell out of the seat, trying to get rid of the flame, but it only grew larger, frighting her more.

 

Jacob put his hand on his chin and pondered at what Morbius said"yep thats what it seems ,i havnt seen Kain in a while is he alright"he asked

 

Morbius watched Abbie, letting her grasp the concept of control and fury while talking to Jacob. "Kain will be fine, he's probably out reducing our enemies numbers", He said sighing, Although Kain may have awoken the secrets of the dark gifts.

 

Jacob watched Abbie as well and then talked to Morbius"well she is gettin a hang of it also since the enemys are getting slaughterd we dont have to worry. So what happened to the first Night Shift?"he asked Morbius

 

Abbie kept crying out, watching the flame grow and spread. It was on her body now. She rolled in the floor, like an idiot, to try and get it put out.
"Someone help me!" she called to them.

 

Morbius heldout his hand and used an ancient vampire ritual to cancel the flame and lower it back to its dormant stage.
