The Night Shift

From upon the darkness emerged a flame. The flame showed her fury. It was a low red flame, and it was still decending... Another blue flame shined and flew open. That flame was her telekinesis. She could see the fury and telekinesis... She needed to learn how to use that, when she would come to. She could feel the wound on her body still bleed.

 

Kain and Marcus battled around the room both being hit by each other and the steam as they tried to gain enough momentum to access their powers.

 

Joseph wandered around the outside of the building, listening to the fight inside. He walked up to the door, watching a fight between a Paladin and vampire. It was the vampire from earlier, and he looked down at the floor, seeing Abbie's body. He hissed and looked back up at Marcus. He recognized him from somewhere.
"Yo dude.. need any help!?" he called out.

 

"Kill the girl", Marcus shouted amidst the battle.

 

Joseph nodded his head once, and stepped around Abbie, grabbing the collar of her shirt and lifting her up with one hand. He pulled his katana out and pulled it back, the tip at her chest. he was getting ready to jab it through her heart.

 

Kain couldn't help Abbie he was in a deadlock with Marcus there fists slamming into each other and the two trying to over throw each others strength.

A fireball came from the entrance at the Paladin holding Abbie, Morbius soon followed it. He wasn't much of a combatant but his power meant he could defend himself. "I'm not one for the slaughter of others", he said preparing more fire on his hand.

 

Jacob looked back to see that the group got ambushed and now they was in a intense fight and he hid behind a wall"crap what should i do why do i have to be a coward"he said to himself panicking

 

Joseph felt a burn hit him and her dropped Abbie's limp body. He hissed through his teeth, then held his katana out at him.
"You talk pretty big for an old man," he laughed.

 

Jacob was in the building then he saw a bucket of oil and he had a grand idea"that should work"he said to himself then he grabed the bucket and threw it at the paladin that was laughing at morbius covering him with the flamable liqued"wow i need to be more carefull"he said to the oil covered Joseph with a smirk

 

"I'll be generous today and let you leave with your life", Morbius said holding the flame in the direction of Joseph. His voice not aggressive but serious.

Kain used his fury to lift Marcus and throw him across the room into the steam. While Marcus was burning Kain quickly picked up a shard of Marcus' shattered sword and threw it at him as it pierced his chest plunging into his heart and killing him.

Marcus dropped to the floor dead. His last thoughts ran through his mind before he became empty in mind and life.

 

Joseph watched Marcus die. It wasn't a pretty sight, but now, he was totally outnumbered... and covered in oil. He looked down at Abbie's body in the floor. He only needed one swipe of his sword, and he'd kill her... Just one...He shook his head.... deciding whether to walk out with his life, or take the life of a vampire, like they took the life of a Paladin.

 

OOC: Marcus was a vampire XD

BIC: Morbius waited the flame still in his hand. He had already decided not to kill him although Marcus was the only real target at this time.

 

OOC: xDDDDD oops xD

BIC:

Joseph sheathed his katana and ran into the shadow's, out the back door and into the night. He wouldn't face them... at least not yet.

 

Kain walked over to Morbius, gave him, Abbie and Jacob a single look and left the room, "I'm going to get some rest, morning will be soon", Kain said as he vanished into the mist until he reached sanctuary.

 

OOC: Abbie is passed out xDDD

BIC:

Abbie heard voices in her head. The flames grew weaker and weaker, until they were a small ember. She forgot how to use either power now.

 

OOC: I know, thats the point XD

BIC: Morbius picked Abbie up and took her back to sanctuary letting Jacob take care of buisness before coming back. He had reached sanctuary faster than physically possible as it only took him a single minute instead of the longer walk it takes Kain or any other vampire. He rested Abbie in the chair she was in before expecting her to recover in her own time.

 

Something sparked a trigger in her mind, and both the flames lit up again, the red flame still low. She opened her eyes barely, seeing Morbius... She shook her head and looked forward.
"Wheres Marcus?" she asked, her voice rasp.

 

"Dead, Kain finished him", Morbius said walking over to his seat again and sitting in it. He thought of things while in coversation. One by one the flame torches in the building lit up allowing them more sight, Morbius could do this without even having to move a limb, he used his eyes for the lesser uses of his dark gift.

 

Jacob looked around town for any paladins that he could controll so he could get some information but no luck then he went back to the sanctuary and saw Morbius and walked over to him"hey sorry if i didnt fight im not a fighter but i did help you out and i cant find any paladins i can get information from"he said to Morbius

 

"To be honest i'm surprised by the fact you can manipulate the Paladin's long enough for that, the last one I heard with the same power as you at a high level could only control regular guards", Morbius explained pondering on the phenomenom of how much control and skill this younger vampire has.
