"So how old is he now?" Casey asked, determind to stop any uncomfortable silences.

"Then go and find Casey. He just went in." Conni sighed. "I can't wait until he passes the 'what do I do if...' stage..."

"Whoa... So you've been a mum for three months..."

 

"Yeah...."she said

"You don't look it..." Casey said causully, walking away as Ben peered around the corner.

"Just when I thought I'd got past the annoying little kids stage." she smiled weakly. "Now I have half the family never waking up in the mornings and the other half waking up at half five in the morning."

 

"Must be a nightmare...."Lily said

lyra looked outside

 

"Kinda is, yeah..." She grinned

Casey sighed, unable to think of anything to say.

jordan was climbing out laughing,he shoved his dad and turned to run

"time to get outta here...she's gonna lose it with them...."Lyra mutterd

 

"Man your battle stations! It's a Code Red Lily's gonna blow!" Casey laughed

"you go get changed....youjust go somewhere!"Lily said

jordan walked past grinning,trying not the laugh he headed up stairs

lyra looked around the door to see her dad,head into the spare room,laughing,she tutted"no wounder jordans the way he is with dad around!"

 

"Imagine what Cory's gonna be like with them both around!"

 

"Yeah....they both have to grow up now..."Lyra said "I dont want him to be like them...."she crossed her arms and looked out the window,glancing at cory who was back in his high chair

 

"What's wrong with being like them?" Casey asked sitting down at the kitchen table. "I wish I could get away with messing around like them sometimes. But I'm the boring sensible one..."

 

"whats wrong with being like them? whats not wrong with it? dad acts like a teenager and jordan....just acts like jordan....an idiot....no wounder they drive mum mad...."Lyra said

 

"That's what guys are, immature."

 

"Not all guys are...."Lyra said"alot are mature...."she sighed..."you think dad would've grew up a little...."

 

"They're not mature. Believe me, I'm the most mature guy I know and half the other guys think I'm gay because of it."
