jordan was swinging the pole like it was a sword,one dog jumped and bit him on the base of his neck

"Jordan!"Lyra said,fire jumped between her fingers,she looked suprised,her powers hadnt worked since she'd been pregnant with cory"Ada...take Casey,Lisa and elle....and go....."she said looking as if she'd just had an idea

 

Ada nodded, but not before she made some water wash over Jordans neck..."Should clean it.Now Come on!"

 

jordan swung the metal bar again"wheres lyra?"

she walked into the lab,dogs got inside and stood looking at her"give my best to cujo..."she said before there was an explosion,

jordan and alex were knocked backwards onto their backs,the dogs ran away in fright"LYRA!"Jordan said struggling to get up,his wounds slowly him down,"lyra..."

 

Ada was on the brink of the woods when she saw the explosion..."Oh my..."

 

Lyra...."Alex said


jordan started forward,but the dogs,who had gotten a fright for the blast,he surrounded them again,he heard a rumble of a car and their truck bounced into view,knocking sevreal of the dogs down.

lyra opend the door,grinning"get it."

Ada sighed, leaning her head against the seat.."Ly, you're a life saver, really,"

 

"I havent save your life yet."Lyra said turning the corner sharply" i saw a boat,when i was in the labs,so we'll take that..."she said

 

"At this point, I'l take a raft of this bloody Island" Ada said.

 

lyra drove towars the lake,then stopped"everyone get on the boat quick!"she said jumping out and onto the boat,the others followed

 

Ada jumped on, untying the rope..."And, we're home free...I hope"

 

"Yeah..."Lyra said sitting down with a sigh

 

"Wait...What about...our wands?" Ada asked

 

"Ada...their at home...rember we left them...

 

"I thought I left mine in the plane we got here on.." Ada trailed off

 

"im sure you left it at home..."

 

"I Could have sworn I picked up A wand on the plane, and Im certain I left It On there too"
