The new Era

Miku hopped into hers.

 

The transports took off and headed to Antartica. A techinian came up to Miku.
Tech: Please follow me.

 

She nodded and followed.

 

He lead her into a hanger that housed three wierd looking machines.

Tech: These belong to your unit.

 

"Oh you serious?! This is so cool!" she exclaims running over to it.

 

Tech: The commander designed the red one for you. He though an ace should at least have a custom colour.

 

"That's real cool~ Guess I should be going now then!" she said hopping into the red one excitedly.

 

Tech: So enthusiastic, we won't be there for a few hours.

 

"okay~!" she answered back already getting used to her new machine. She got ready to take off.

 

Tech: The commander said you had to read the piloting instructions.

 

"Awww..." she whined but got it and read it anyway.

 

The instructions showed that it was much like a jet, but it could hover in one spot and do 360 turns on the spot without moving. It showed that under the head was a Machine gun. The right hand had Rockets in its fingers and the left arm was a railgun.

 

"Hmm... pretty good." she said then shut the book. "Ready to go now. then~"

 

By the time she had finished reading the instructions, it was freezing cold. Through the windows was an endless white wasteland.

 

"Oh wow..." she breathed looking outside.

 

In the distance, a large building surrounded by runways could be seen.

 

She lead the machine towards there. IT was like she's been driving the thing for years.

 

There were other Lions in the area, as well as jets and tanks. Next to the base building was a new type of machine. It was larger then any other machine there.

 

She landed there, "whoa... that's one amazing lion."

 

A small video screen with Robbie on it appeared on the control pannel.
Robbie: That is no Lion, that is called the Granzon.
