The new Era

Cody smirked. He walked up to Rev. "Rev, what exactly do you think will happen now?" He smirked by his dumbfoundedness, why even a General knew what would happen next.

 

rev: i don't know, get fubar'd?

 

And with that, he smiled and laughed at the joke. "Fubar'd? Apparently," He sighed. He walked over to his mech.. "And my machine, yours, this war isn't going to stop, not by a long shot." He smirked at the pun he made.

 

rev looked over at cody

rev: i see what ya did there. however, i need a skilled pilot in one of those things.

 

Whoever said I wasn't? He sighed. "You're talking to a General, if you've not noticed?" He laughed and rubbed the plating of his mech's leg. "I'm skilled enough to fight on land, but not the air or sea." He sighed and looked at Rev. "Rev, I want to know, why don't you tell me how well this works with a battle, for the beginning of the battles to come." He smiled and walked over to a lift, he pressed one button and it lifted him up to the top of his mech.

 

rev: *yell* i don't care if ur my mother i don't to analyzing

 

Cody laughed and jumped into the cockpit of his mech. "By the way, Shiv here's gonna go out for a test drive, so don't worry, he's been in the shop for too long." He smirked and turned on Shiv. "He'll be back for until I say he comes back, ya hear me, Rev?" And when he said this the hatch closed above him, turning on Shiv. Cody floored it and went out the doorway to the desert. He smirked and stopped, markers were on his screen, he was waiting on which would pop up first.

 

rev: he should be attacked right about now.

 

Cody smirked and fired at the incoming targets, one, two, three. All came at him one by one, most were either dead rats or dead bait. "Too bad, I'm a General to these freaks!" He kept firing at them, all coming towards the base, one shot hit Shiv's shoulder, but it barely affected the armor, it bounced off like a rubber bullet. "Loser!" And with one shot, all things good or bad from him, went into a frenzy. He finished off the last of the few that came close. He, Shiv, came back in one piece, almost. "How much do you think it was for the points total? I'd counted at least three hundred out there." He called from Shiv's microphone. "I lose points if I get hit, ten points counted out, total is: two-hundred and ninty." He smirked under the helmet he wore.

 

rev twirled his finger in the air

rev: ur so awesome you should bow down infront of your reflection.

 

Cody noticed the sarcasm. "Minus ten bucks from your bonus this year." He said smugly and put Shiv back in the same place where it began. He jumped out of his mech, and told a mechanic to fix the right shoulder. "Buff it out." He smirked and walked to his office.

 

rev: i don't get paid by you genius. you don't have the clearance.

 

Neo tried to reach his gun but he was too weak. "Just great!!!I knew it was a great mistake to join these imbecils!!"he shouted.

 

ooc: where are you exactly?

 

Cody stopped. "Who do you get paid by then, Mr. Smart-a**?!" He smirked and walked away again to his office.

 

rev: blood mostly

 

OOC: *facepalm* I was trying to find my last post to tell you to respond but it seems it never went through. that I'm just going insane. either way I'll just pick up from here.

Hugh: Actually it's only cheep because we use scrap from everything that gets destroyed in these battles. If we tried to buy parts off the market even these low-grade ships would be expensive.

 

An alarm sounded in the base.

The girl started to walk towards him.

 

rev: time to get screwed

 

Cody stopped and ran back to Shiv. He didn't have time so he just got on the platform and went up with it. He opened the hatch and jumped in, signaling the repairer to get out of there. "All right, lets see who's next?" He smirked and waited for the signal.
