The Maximum Ride: The Escape

Nate looed up at the night sky and felt very strong

 

Jasmine was having a nightmare. She was having coldsweats and shiviring.

 

"nate. we need to stop for the night. could you go get some fire wood?" jake layed Jasmine on the ground and put his coat over her. "its ok. you will be safe" he said trying to get her out of her nightmare

 

"Just what we need... A person having nihtmares.." Nate said from the shadows

"yeah be back"

 

"well you try being in that school for as long as she has and tell me how your dreams are" he told nate.

 

Nate dashed through the woods and found a large tree.... 'eh what te heck' he thought and used the darkness to snap the tree in half an snap again..ect. ec.t ect. untill he had enough firewood for 3 fires and brought them back...."Here" he said and made 3 piles

 

Jasmine tossed and turn sweating and moaning.

 

"thanks." he made a small stack and lit it on fire. he moved Jasmine closer to it

 

Nate winced at the light and receded back into the darkness a little

 

"so how long were you in school for?" he asked nate."its ok Jasmine. its just a bad dream" h said still trying to help her

 

"This was my first year....never did stay in ANY school very long.."

 

"i was in for 11 years. you were lucky to get out so soon"

 

Jasmine woke up screaming.
"Im sorry" she said.

 

"its ok. there is nothing to be sorry about, we all have nightmares"

 

"yea.... no problem"

 

She jumped when she saw Nate.
"Who are you?"

 

"I am Nate"

 

"oh thats nate."
