Thank you. @Misty, @Llaverion and @libregkd made it really easy to be polite and friendly because they were very welcoming. We had a lot of fun before and after just chatting, so during the podcast it just felt like an extension of that chattering.

I worked all morning on vocal exercises and studying my shiz to make sure I could make any cases so I'm glad it paid off :X

As someone who's run Summer Podcasts two years in a row (probably going to be three), you can do it, but it usually ends up being censored or cut out if there's a lot.
But yeah, I try not to because I'm awkward as hell on podcasts and I just hide in the corner until it's my "turn" to talk, haha.

Woot! Should send them in questions, too![DOUBLEPOST=1396989192][/DOUBLEPOST]
I used to be on podcasts for Monstervine all the time a few years back and I was personally more informal then? I used to interrupt people and get very passionate about the talk, as opposed to this time. There's a lot of give and take you need to be aware of, it seems.

It's a huge adjustment taking over the podcast but I'm so happy with the improvements we've made. Technically I'm still learning a lot but then there are vocal based things like articulating, cutting down on likes and ums, making sure you know what you're saying before you open your mouth... It's a lot to be conscious of. And then there's trying to make sure everyone has a chance to speak, not interuptting others, etc. Even with all of this though it's a lot of fun. The best part to me is definitely having guests, every one we've had has been unique and fun and I'd love to have them back. I definitely encourage everyone to sign up!

I second the sign up thing! Do it! Misty's a wiz at editing and hosting these things so don't think you may muck it up :P

Personally, I can attest that I never felt excluded even though I wasn't one of the podcast gang. I always felt I had the chance to speak and even was able to jump in and answer some questions first.

I see my crappy background noises made it in still... MY MIC'S TOO GOOD. :X

This is p. much the only thing holding me back (that and I'm not even positive I have the technology needed). I'm not confident in my ability to not say something terribly wrong. And I'm not sure if I would have anything to add to the topics since I don't play video games as much as most people here seem to, and I don't know much of anything about the industry. still would like to do it.. some day.

All you need is a decent mic and headphones! I understand being anxious about participating, it took a long time before I was really comfortable doing podcasts. We usually talk for a little while before the episode starts which I find helps relax everyone. Honestly I think you should just give it a shot! We don't have to talk about gaming every week so if there are other topics people want to listen to or talk about then that's cool by me (as long as we have some interest in/knowledge about it too).

    I second this.

ALSO I DIDN'T EVEN USE HEADPHONES BECAUSE MY MIC WAS SO AWESOME PRE-FALLING

I would like to but there was a situation that occurred this past summer that has made me really anxious about speaking. Sometimes I'm fine and sometimes I'm really scared about saying the wrong thing or even talking in the first place. I'm not going to go into too much detail but suffice to say that I had to terminate a friendship because said friend was a very toxic person.

She was the sort of person that demanded attention/sympathy when something happened to her but she wasn't willing to do the same when I needed it.I couldn't rp because I was in extreme amounts of pain at the time and I told her this. But she didn't care in the slightest. She's a hypocrite who badmouthed a well known artist in a livestream hosted by said artist. [She didn't like all the "sexy art" that this artist is known for. Yet she drew one of her own characters in a way meant to mimic said artist.] She said nasty things about me behind me back when I didn't do anything to her. She said terrible things about my friends. She even threatened and blackmailed one of them. I had to get rid of her.

I' d listen to it but ... long story short, I can' t.
I wouldn' t participate though. Writing in English is one thing, speaking it is another. I' d totally sing for the chorus but, yeah, still no mic.

    500 CHAPTERS INTO ONE PIECE

I think I should celebrate or something. I'm feeling very sentimental about this, like I should give a speech for this wonderful accomplishment.

So I actually followed @DigitalAtlas suggestion and applied to be a Podcast guest a few weeks ago, now let's hope my English speaking has gotten better with my classes and stuff (Not saying I was terrible at speaking English but I wasn't that natural either). This should be a fun experience.

On another news, I had a troubleshooting nightmare with my PC's sound card today.

I'M NOT TOUCHING ANYTHING HARDWARE-RELATED EVER AGAIN.

    EVER. AGAIN.

Listening now. So far, you haven't messed up so there's that.

Also, I can't really differentiate some of the male voices from each other too well :<
