    I thought the first Cap movie was the best of its rooster from a scenario standpoint (though its action was lame) and his next one seemed to have the most interesting premise of the second Marvel batch so I was looking forward to it.

    However I just saw a review which was a real cold shower to me. Apparently the promise of a tongue in cheek comment on modern US war policies quickly gets thrown away in exchange for mindless blockbuster action (and that comes from a critic who wouldn' t describe the previous Marvel movies as that).

    From a visual standpoint think confusing, nauseating "documentary" style shots.

    And finally another problem I could already spot in the trailer (though I doubt most people here will give a flying **** about it) : all the supposedly French characters actually speak Quebequese (hello, not the same) and their acting is utterly sub-par (but then how would you notice unless you' re a native speaker yourself).

    In short, lazy all around. Yikes.

    I'm sure this will sound like a very small feat to some people, but I'm super proud of myself so I'm sharing: I read for recreation today :'D

    You've got my 'grats, I haven't done this since last June and it's awful. I've got a few things on a backlog to read and really want to sit down to set some time aside to do that before it gets unbearably long. ;_;

    A Mass Effect comic.

    It's a big deal to me because I almost never, if never, read for recreation. There's no stimulus so it's hard for me having grown up around constant stimulus. It's to the point I've never been able to read things for school either or work because it comes off as just boring. I'll pull mental games with myself to get out of it and it ends up hurting me more than anything, so I'm a little proud of myself, even if it's just a comic book because those were difficult too (not reading them or comprehending them or anything like that- I'm very literate, I just could never bring myself to read more than a paragraph or so before making some excuse to give up). Tips from ya'll helped a lot. Especially Misty's tips for noise. I'm trying to do it a little everyday so it eventually becomes second nature.

    I don't have a backlog. Heck, I don't even have a log. I have like three books :X But thanks, and read what I said to Below.

    oh wait what, a comic? well if that's what you mean by reading then readings what I do with like 70% of my free time. I thought you meant like a book or something
    I feel ya. I don't have the issue to that extent but I do find it hard to maintain focus sometimes. since i started reading more I've gotten better though. just keep at it

    I took the time to edit because a comic seems unimpressive, but to me that's a huge step.... >_>

    Ah. Not yet.... I really don't have any books to read. Not a fan of series books, the few I have read were more classic novels.

    Have something on the forum for you to work on just in case you end up the library for no reason at all... again.

    My power was out for an hour. That is enough time for me to panic, take a shower, and then sit staring at the wall in a boredom induced panic.

    Goddamnit it's April. STOP GIVING ME SNOW AND ICE ALREADY.

    I don't have time to constantly question people's life decisions.
