    I started it today
Craig will attest to it too, but the game is pretty difficult. If you know anything about Atlus, you'll know to prepare your patience.
Other than that, Catherine is pretty awesome. If you do plan on playing it, maybe you should go on "easy", and no I'm not saying you're bad at games, but goddamn can it be frustrating.
(also, don't play around other people)

In all fairness, blame the fact that the manga always goes on long hiatus :c wish sucks because the 2011 anime is almost caught up to it too. They might make a break or something. I hope it doesn't go its own way. We know how that went with the original anime.

Catherine? Getting all of the endings will cause some mild misery. Also wait til you guys get to Babel AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

EDITTT: @Ira Gamagōri I suppose there's that (D. Gray-man slitslit), but I'd rather they just put anime adaptions on hold while the manga goes on a bit further. I want my D and Soul Eater reboot. D:

It's fine. I can suck pretty hard at certain games, and I already have the "do it on easy and eventually maybe go to normal" mentality. I love Atlus and most everything they release, but patience is something of which I am in short supply.

KEEP UP JEROME WE'RE TALKING FMA.

Nah, fer reel- maybe I just have the wrong impression of him then. The underwear and bad house made me think crazy redneck.

I haven't watched FMA though :c not yet at least

And I think you do, he's not really a redneck. He just chooses to seclude himself and live like that because he despises the superficial ways the people live in the big city.

I like to split the history of KHV into "pre-drama" and "post-drama".

    pre-drama is like
    pre-creation.

Or fell asleep with the news on.[DOUBLEPOST=1388770247][/DOUBLEPOST]
Yeah, but we had a drop in drama around 2009. After that, I'd call it the "post-drama" times.

So, do you prefer the original anime, or Brotherhood?

Because I VERY MUCH prefer Brotherhood. So many episodes in the original anime had me feeling like "Ok...what was the point of that?"

BUT the original had some really cool twists around the ending, and Conqueror of Shambala is p great. Still, Brotherhood had better pacing to me, and the Xingese characters (LING), and I liked it more, so yeah.

I think Conqueror of Shamballa is terrible, but that's just me and nitpicking. I prefer the original ending no matter how vague.

That said, I haven't seen enough of Brotherhood to make a judgement call on that. They seem like different beasts though.

I mean, it's hard to top the original for me. It had one of the most powerful moments in media when the Lab 5 arc ended with just Armstrong carrying the boys out of the hellish place as the outro started. It really added to the whole arc and made the whole feat feel incredible and gave it a lot of weight and ended it, giving that feeling of weight, without saying a word.

Tell you what: I'll finish the original (movies included) if you finish Brotherhood. We can discuss and everything once we're done. Deal?

Does anyone remember my really annoying text? With the blue letters and bronze punctuation? I'm trying to bring that back so I'm going to be using this thread as a testing ground.

The Bravely Default demo is really good. I keep getting my ass handed to me in the dungeons, though. I recklessly stack Braves and die...it's a really interesting system.

If you're a major casual who can't figure out the "easy" on the sudoku puzzle in the paper I wouldn't bother. If you like a challenge it's great.
