Just keep watching it for a while longer. If you don't dislike it yet, you still have a chance. I think that, by around episode 11, you'll have experienced enough of the initial plot and characters and such to really get a feel for the series. If you aren't invested by the end of episode 11, the series just might not be for you.

You will get a challenge probably a couple months after I beat it because lots of games and EV traning takes time, or not until I get pokemon bank and bring in my fully trained homies. Which ever comes first.

What's the need for speed when I can hit hard or take enough hits to win?

The closest thing to 252 Speed EVs is Blaziken, and her defense is ****. Plus I don't even use her in casual battles.

Man all this talk of Pokemon is making me want to go back to Y, and to videogames in general (I haven't touched my 3DS in close to a week)

It doesn't helps I'm physically destroyed everyday after 12 PM so I need to lie down on my bed (Read: NOT SLEEP, lie down) every few hours. Probably because of a combination of the weather and my vegetarian eating habits.

It's not like I lack games to finish, either...

tl;dr KHV, help me decide what to play next, BD or Pokemon Y, or should I finish A Link Between Worlds (My bad gaming habits keep happening and I stopped RIGHT BEFORE THE LAST DUNGEON <_<).

Grammar help: you mean "lie down." To lay something down is to put an object or being on a plain.

I think Bravely Default will take far longer to complete than Pokemon Y. Finish A Link Between Worlds, and then go to Pokemon Y.

Whoops, sorry, English isn't my primary language, so I tend to make these silly mistakes every once in a while lol (Mostly at mixing "Specially" and "Especially")

And I am on the last year of English Teacher career too... Haha.

Thanks for correcting me though, I really appreciate being told when I'm making a mistake.

Yeah, you are right, I should first tackle A Link Between Worlds, BD will definately take it's time toll, so Pokemon Y should be indeed my next priority. But I'm not even on the third gym on it, so it's not going to be a 5 hour thing either. But I am sure with some effort I'll be able to finish it at an acceptable time.

Why Nidhogg Is My Patron Game (And Also Why You Should Buy It)
    • It features fencing, which is sick as all hell
    • It is sprite-based and minimalistic, two of my favorite things for a game to be
    • It acts a little like a fighter, which I love to death
    • It also has slight platforming elements, which I also love to death
    • The Nidhoggr is one of my favorite mythological creatures
    • The soundtrack was composed by Daedelus, who if you didn't know made the track I got my first username from
    • Grumps played it, Maximilian played it, DreadedCone played it
    • YOU should play it
    • $15 on Steam buy now

Gaming section crosspost here if you want postcount for talking about it

Smosh Games has also just played Nidhogg, and if I had the bucks on my Steam account, I'd totally pick it up because what's cooler than fighting to be a sacrifice?

Art style is super cool and there's a lot of strategy involved.

So I won a Pokémon Giveaway on tumblr and ended up getting to pick three legends.

Naturally I took home Arceus, Mew, and a Shiny Rayquaza.

all this pokemon talk is making me want to buy a game

ive played emerald, ruby, fire red, leaf green, diamond, and white on emulator but i've never actually owned a physical copy of the game.

thinking about straight up stealing my sisters copy of heart gold. sucks cause she always loses her cases though. not even sure if i could find it. she also has white 2, had platinum and has x. i dont want to play white 2 until ive actually beaten white. and i dont want to play a 3ds pokemon game until i buy it myself. and its going to be y.

WHAT WAS I THINKING BUYING SCRIBBLENAUTS UNMASKED A MONTH AGO. I COULD HAVE BOUGHT A GAME I COULD ACTUALLY SINK MY TEETH INTO

HeartGold is 10/10. White and White 2 can be skipped though since they have a good plot, but are rather boring in my opinion.

So I'm finally tackling Shadow of the Colossus properly. Third colossus scares me b/c I don't like being so close to a gigantic death monster.

One of the best games I've played, in part because it's all about my favorite thing in video games: boss battles.

Well thanks to Game Grumps, I know how to beat four of them, and I also finally know that the pink circle represents the strength of my grip. That's one of tye reasons I'd never had the patience to keep clobbering away at the first one.

Still, knowing is only half the battle, and I really do enjoy the strategy that goes into a lot of these.

Just finished A Link Between Worlds.

I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to play a Zelda without gimmicks strapped to it (I am looking at you, Phantom Hourglass <_<). Sure there’s no really hard moments but the game is incredibly relaxing to play and you need to be intuitive and with a common sense and one of discovery to progress.

I do think some items are useless (Won’t spoil much but I’ll just say that some items bear no relevancy inside of battle outside of some specific parts. Actually I just used Bow + Tornado Rod for most of the game)

Despite the game drawing heavy inspiration from Link To The Past (At the least from what I played of LTTP), it manages to add it’s own twist and stay fresh on it’s own.

Drawing Link is also really creative for the puzzles and stuff.

I also couldn’t get stuck in a dungeon no matter how hard I tried, so that’s sign of good design.

There are a lot of optional stuff/quests to do but I didn’t do them, you can just ignore them.

    Overall, pretty fun game.
