I like Miyazaki and I like 30 Seconds to Mars. I don't see what's wrong with this.

I have a feeling that I'll hate your theme once I've caught up.
And something also tells me that lollipop will be on his way out as soon as I start it.

Just follow the trainers in the cave and make sure to check every opening once there.

You'll be able to get to the 3rd Gym in no time if you do that.

What's up KHV? What has been of your lives?

I've been pretty alright-ish as of lately, mostly composing music on solitude every day after I wake up.

I've also been sleeping a bit on Bravely Defaut, I really need to go back to that game.

Otherwise, it's been a good week.

I'm nearly at the finale of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, but I think I'll just grind it out a bit longer to get some really sweet abilities, like Once More and Mega Flare.

Cool stuff, what are your thoughs on the game?

I do have in my to-get game list but it's not my top priority because of what I heard of the Story.

That and the sudden character-switching even during bosses and how Balloon Magic > Everything.

I DID heard Flowmotion is an amazing mechanic though, and that intrigues me.

Once More and Second Chance will be your life savers for the end game. Sad that now those two abilities are almost a necessity. You'll definitely have fun for the final bosses.

I think that, while the game has the best utilization of vertical space since the first Kingdom Hearts (I HATED how everything in Kingdom Hearts II was just FLAT,) it takes far too long for the actual plot to pick up. After the first world, much of what you do feels so separated from the actual main storyline, you almost wonder if you really need to be doing that stuff. But when the plot does pick up...I'll say that it is quite interesting what happens. Won't spoil much, but I kinda like the crazy plot so far. Much more interesting to me than Kingdom Hearts II's plot post-Roxas playing.

Also, combat in the game seems a lot more focused on spamming Magic, since I've found most Attack commands inferior in power and utility, except for the two-slot commands like Sonic Blade and Dark. Except for boss battles, Zero Graviza, Sparkga, Balloonga, and other area-of-effect spells destroy enemies.

I actually don't mind the character switching, as it keeps things from feeling stale, but it is a huge issue when it occurs during a boss battle. Luckily, that rarely has happened for me.

Flowmotion is pretty cool, although I mainly just use it for mobility purpose. Riku sorely lacks an ability like Sora's superglide, because the maps are simply too large when you just need to run through to find a certain section. Combat-wise, it's strong enough to be useful without being overpowered (except for early in the game, where it feels stronger than anything else you could do.)

I already have Second Chance, but the bosses near the end have such ridiculous combos that I feel the need to grind for Once More, especially since I'm playing on Proud Mode.

I see, I can honestly bear with the plot taking it's sweet time to pick up, as long as there's some action between those moments and not just endless fetch quests. Also crazy plot? Hopefully it's not like BlazBlue: ChronoPhantasma with it's "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT WRITER!?" plot-twists.

Combat is focused on magic? Aww, I always liked physical commands due to me being a Nocturne player (Where in that game Phys > Everything), but I can get used to Magic easily. Also from what you are telling me crowd-control is very important in this game, is there a substancial amount of enemies per battle or something?

Yeah, I heard there is also an item to prevent that from happening, don't remember the name but recovers some of the character switch gauge.

That's what I REALLY like about from Flowmotion from what I heard, it's amazing yet not incredibly broken, and it has lots of mobility options you can take from it, and it can't be spammed because it has no invincibility frames (Atleast, this is what I seem to grasp about it)

Anyways, thanks for taking your time to reply to me.

Well, I just finished the game last night/this morning, and...the ending was kind of disappointing. Lots of build up to a cliffhanger. Hell, I didn't even know I was fighting the final boss. I expected one more encounter, but nope, last cut scenes rolled and then credits.

Well, once you build enough Attack Boosts and have a Keyblade that's respectable in Strength, your basic attacks will be carrying you, since you'll be needing those while your Attack and Magic commands reload. The amount of enemies really start to stack up near the end of the game, where Zero Graviza just makes everything so much easier since you'll be avoiding getting staggered every few seconds (or worse, grabbed by some of the strongest Dream Eaters.)

There is an item that prevents Drops, but...frankly, I almost never use items in Kingdom Hearts games, so I didn't even bother.
