What's up KHV? I finally got Bravely Default! c:

Pretty fun game so far, and it has it's Shin Megami Tensei-tier moments (Read: I am playing on Hard Mode and these enemies are either destroyed or destroy me) that I enjoy to have in my RPGs.

Other than that, it's been a pretty calm week.

Well, in my particular case, even though I heard from word-of-mouth Normal was hard enough, I decided to pick Hard mode because, well, I usually play games on the hardest setting unless it's not a good idea to do so on your first run (Read: SMT: Nocturne, Metal Gear Rising, etc), and given there is an option to change difficulty mid-game, that was more of an incentive to me to try Hard mode.

Yeah, I don't even like post-split Panic, but that song isn't bad. It's not HEY MOON! PLEASE FORGET TO FALL DOWN! but it's catchy, I dig the intro of it, and the chorus is fun.

But caring about what program to use when launching a game, then spending hours playing said game, then closing said game and not seeing program until relaunching game.

So KHV, I finished recording a song I decided to cover because I was... Intrigued by the song itself, but...

    1) I am incredibly self-exigent, shy with everything (And that includes letting my voice out) and overall have no self-confidence, so resuming all in all I don’t feel this cover is “Perfect” yet.

    2) I don’t have the same vocal range as the vocalist. That is to be expected because there aren’t two people with the same vocal range or tone, but my voice is significantly deeper than the singer, so it isn’t a faithful rendition.

    3) My sound card isn’t the best, I thank God itself that the record wasn’t of horrible quality like the other time I tried because I used a different proceeding and program, but still, I had to do a small trick to remove all the background noise off the vocals...

IDK, I really enjoy singing but sometimes I really wonder if I’m fit for it. :l

Also on a semi-related note, somebody tell me how I went from wanting to do a vocal cover of Endless Despair II to THIS. My guess is that I realized my voice is not fit for that music genre.

More like my friends who don't use said program and having to find people I want to play with who do use that program.

Well KHV, I'm sorry beforehand if I destroy your ears with my voice, and I'm sorry if I ruined this song forever for you or this excellent instrumental rendition (THAT LOW SELF-ESTEEM KICKING ME)

    Please bear in mind that:

    1) This is a bit rough around the edges because I barely had time to practice this. It was also an experiment because as you can see my vocal range is not the best for this song.

    2) I have an on-board sound card.

    3) I am incredibly shy while doing anything, reason why my voice is muffled.

    4) I am still in training in singing classes.

    5) I don't know if I could erase all the background noise off my mic (Edit: I couldn't).

    6) I don't have a "OH MY GOD THIS MIC IS GODLIKE" mic.

...Is that all? I think that's all.

With that in mind, I promised that I would post one of my vocal covers here, and I deliver: http://www.mediafire.com/listen/lg07bmy88avrzh6/Stairway To Heaven Cover.mp3

    tl;dr I'm sorry for not being Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury, or anybody with a trained voice, KHV. ;_;
