ALSO apparently a bunch of people wanted it to be All Star and I would've been SO DOWN with them using Smash Mouth

 

I'm actually not that impressed with this season's OP, but that's a struggle when the JoJo OP's have been so godly. Though it's not that I dislike it; the disco stuff is still fun.

 

I really should get to watching part 4, but I have yet to find a version that calls the Stands by their proper names. IT IS NOT SHINING DIAMOND, IT IS CRAZY DIAMOND DAMMIT

How safe would you say that site is?

 

Perfectly safe. I dunno if you're new to downloading anime, but if a group ever did something malicious, they'd be off MAL (and Some-Stuffs is the top rated sub group for Diamond right now)

 

They had to change it due to copyright laws.

Iunno. People talk about it a lot is all I know.

 

For me, it's a very fun series to watch because of how it constantly puts the protags into really interesting and often actually overwhelming situations. Characters have to get clever with their abilities instead of just shouting and becoming stronger, and there's a sense of progression as each part's main character is a different person who's name just happens to be shortened to JoJo with the setting changing to different points in history, with Phantom Blood occuring in the 19th century and the subsequent Battle Tendency just before World War II (though the gaps are smaller starting with Part 4.)

Also the music is fantastic, the poses are ridiculous, the color palette changes often with the intensity of different situations, and DIO is one of the most hateable characters in anime.

 

the thing that intrigues me is how the manga is divided into parts. it's def on my list of things to read/watch/play. and here's what that list looks like in order of relative importance
