its hard for me to rank them like that because there's either one in the bunch i really dont like or only one that i really like.

what's the story component of bloodborne like? heavy/light, good/bad?

never played a fallout game

 

Yeah, I was just ranking them as groups.

There aren't many cut scenes, and the ones that are in the game are pretty brief. Some of the storytelling comes from item descriptions, some comes from NPC dialogue. I personally really like the story of Bloodborne.

New Vegas is generally viewed as the best 3D Fallout game due to its strong writing.

 

so like is it a game that ill play and feel like im immersed in a story and world? maybe im being redundant in my questions but like im trying to cut down on regrettable impulse purchases and im curious about this game but it seems to be hard to get a feel for from videos

i started playing pirate warriors 3 today and here are my thoughts
i love the art. before going in i thought that every anime game should just use the same style as the unstorm games which basically looks like an anime but now i dont think that. i think it just looks right for naruto. this is like one piece come to life somehow. i dont know if this game/series is known for being like a gorgeous looking series but goddamn is it pretty. maybe this is still me being taken aback from current gen graphics and stuff but man. its so colorful and its literally like op in the same way that storm is like naruto. thinking about oda's color pages, they always had this rubber-y look to them and this captures that perfectly. im rambling now o well

 

Honestly I can't say for sure if you'll become immersed like I did. I love the gothic horror and orchestral scores and monsters and trick weapons and sense of dread, so I felt it was very immersive.

I just can't tell you whether you'll like the core gameplay enough to keep your engagement. Hits, both to and from enemies, have an appropriate sense of weight and range. Firearms aren't very useful for damage except for stuff like cannons, but serve as a reward for timing counter-attacks well. If you die holding Blood Echoes (what you use to level up and buy most items and upgrades), you can still get back the amount you had, but only if you reach your blood puddle or kill the enemy who killed you. There's a fantastic sense of level design, since the world is very well interconnected for the most part, enhancing the storytelling. If you have PS+, you choose if you play alone or with others, though there are also some NPC summons who can help you in parts of the game.

If you can get any sort of chance to play it first, like from a friend or rental service like Redbox, and you're still uncertain, try to do that first.

Congrats @Boy Wonder, I already liked it on facebook , but just saying it again.

Now I'm going to share all my fluffy cuteness since yesterday was my first wedding anniversary (your sempai is so grown up). The first year is paper and my husbando ~ made 365 slips of paper, all color coded, and I'm supposed to draw one each day. There are memories, reasons he loves me, lyrics, coupons, and requests/chance/path of life [w/e you wanna call it], and he made the base of the Kingdom Keyblade out of cardboard and paper towel rolls and we're supposed to paper mache and paint it together. So not that you guys should steal his idea, but it was a really great inexpensive DIY thing to do if you're ever struggling with a gift idea. Although I'll warm you, he did say it took about two weeks to come up with all 365. It seems easy until you're actually doing it.

Bloodborne is the best here. Despite failing to be as sicknasty as Demon's Souls or Darkses Souls Uno and having lost its best weapon.

Ironically I just started Arkham Knight. Amazingly it runs decently on PC finally, though my stronger setup helps.

On my online class discussion board, I saw someone call "The Revenant" one of the worst films they've seen and I have to applaud the edge.

 

I mean, that's just true tho.
