regular has SIGNIFICANTLY smaller screens, like as someone with an OG 3DS it's not a big deal until I see it next to an XL and then i'm like "oh" and get kinda jealous lmao

 

Literally 80% of my motivation to buy a New XL. My roommate's made mine look like a baby console.

 

I chose Chespin and Charmander when I first played X. Final team was Vaporeon, Chestnaught, Charizard, Absol, Skarmory, and Gengar

 

Froakie and Charmander all the way.

 

gen i and vi have the starters i like least. i dont particularly care about any of them so its hard to pick

so i can afford one more game and heres what im looking at. guide me khv
arkham knight (this is one of those ofc im gonna buy it at some point but rn?)
xenoverse (really on the fence with this one)
tf devastation (also on the fence here)
bloodborne (this is what i want to impulse buy but like ive never played a game like this and idk if its right for me)
fallout 4 (i played like 5 hours of battlefront and im already shootered out but i like the art of this game so???)

 

Starters for me:

Gen 3 > Gen 1 > Gen 2 > Gen 5 > Gen 4 > Gen 6

Bloodborne is amazing (gee it's like I like it just look at my theme)
It's got such an interesting lore, fantastic aesthetics and music, really satisfying combat, and a lot of just cool stuff.
Bloodborne is the game that finally got me into the Souls series; it's to me the fairest, funnest game, with the most interesting world (even if the story isn't as deep as Demons' or Dark 1.)
Just be aware: you probably will become frustrated at parts, but it's all about learning how to beat a section or boss more than it is leveling up.
The Old Hunters DLC is really good too. Adds a ton of cool weapons and probably my favorite boss fight in the game.

Transformers: Devastation I've yet to play, but it's a Platinum game, so expect a really fast, really combo-heavy game that rewards timing and style.

Fallout 4...it's a prettier Fallout 3 with somewhat better combat and some great customization at the price of a story to give a damn about and less player choice than ever before. It's not a bad game, but Bethesda Softworks got kind of lazy with the RPG-parts to me and made it more like a shooter with Minecraft appeal.

Batman Arkham Knight I've yet to start, but I own it and am excited to start soon. The worst things I've heard are an over-reliance on the Batmobile (which some people didn't enjoy) and an apparently super predictable story. Game looks gorgeous but it's a WB game so it's got a ton of content that's barred behind DLC prices.

Xenoverse is a game that looks fun but I've heard is a GIGANTIC grind. I'm waiting for it to drop to $20 before I pick it up.
